Default Help!!!

Ok...guyz I REALLY need your help right now.

In my Government class we are doing a Bill of Rights collage. So NEwayz, in my collage I wanted to have pictures of celebrities. For example, for one of the pictures of "Right to Bear Arms" I have a picture of Ewan from Black Hawk Down.

So NEwayz, we only haveta do 4 amendments and the ones I've picked are "Freedom of Speech, Religion, Press, Assemble, and Petition" , "Right to Bear Arms", "Rights of Accussed Persons" and "Right to a Speedy, Fair Trial"

So far I have one picture for freedom of speech...and that's b/c of their clothes...but I kinda want something more like someone standing up and saying something. I don't have anything for freedom of press and tho that would be easy I want something with a celebrity...so I'm kinda stuck there...and I can't think of any movies in which ppl are signing a petition. And I can't think of anything for "Right to a Speedy, Fair Trial"

If any of you could post pictures of celebrities or tell me any movies or something with that stuff in it, I'd appreciate it SO much.

Freedom of speech you could always get a pic of Martin Luther King Jr.. or Sally Field in that movie.. meh forget.

Umm.. freedom of press.. Lordy I dunno. What about that movie with Robert Redford during Nixon he worked on a newspaper. Meangya, I dont even know what Im talking about.

Petition.. Brady Bunch! When they were going to close down the park the Bradys did a big petition. They did a petition on Happy Days too!! So Fonzie could get his diploma with the rest of them. What a revolution!

Speedy, Fair Trial... how about OJ Simpson? Kinda do the opposite.

The movie you are thinking of is "All the President's Men." It's about Carl Bernstein (Dustin Hoffman) and Bob Woodward (Robert Redford), who are Washington Post reporters who investigate the Watergate scandal and eventually trace it back to President Nixon.

On Happy Days, Fonzie and Howard went to court over a roof that gave in. Speedy! Buuut I dont have any pics. The Bradys went to court too! And that mean ol' man faked a neck injury! Freedom Of Press!! Lordy, I just remembered!! Happy Days.. Richie is going to put in the school newspaper that Fonzie is afraid of liver and then Fonzie tells him no but Richie says its freedom of press and he has the right to write it. Fonzie then broke his pen.

For freedom of the press, you could get a picture pertaining to Watergate where the Washington Post investigated the cover-up of the Nixon administration's break-in at the Democratic Party office at the Watergate building, or pictures related to the Pentagon Papers.

Here is part of an article about the Pentagon Papers:

"...Thirty years ago....President Nixon picked up his Sunday New York Times on June 13, 1971 to see the wedding picture of his daughter Tricia and himself in the Rose Garden, leading the left-hand side of the front page. Next to that picture, on the right, was the headline over Neil Sheehan’s first story on the Pentagon Papers, “Vietnam Archive: Pentagon Study Traces 3 Decades of Growing U.S. Involvement.” Nixon did not read the story (so he says on tape in his 12:18 p.m. phone call with Alexander Haig).

On Monday evening, June 14, Attorney General John Mitchell warned the Times via phone and telegram against further publication; and on Tuesday June 15, the government sought and won an restraining order against the Times – an injunction subsequently extended to the Washington Post when that paper picked up the cause. The epic legal battle that ensued culminated on June 30, 1971 in the U.S. Supreme Court’s 6-3 decision to lift the prior restraints – arguably the most important Supreme Court case ever on freedom of the press."
