Default TVLand's John Ritter Tribute Schedule (A MUST READ)

TVLand released the schedule for tomorrow's John Ritter tribute marathon. Here it is, and this time, since I'm copying it all from their site, ALL TIMES ARE EASTERN

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2003

9am: "The Bob Newhart Show"
Episode 52 - "Sorry, Wrong Mother"

9:30: "Three's a Crowd"
Episode 1 - "Pilot"

10am: "The Ropers"
Episode 7 - "Stanley, the Ladies Man" (note: it will air as a TC episode, like always)

10:30: "Three's Company"
Episode 73 - "Handcuffed"

11am: "Starsky & Hutch"
Episode 15 - "The Hostages"

12pm: "Hawaii Five-0"
Episode 76 - "Dealer's Choice" OR Episode 16 - "Blackmail" (this part of the sked is messed up)

1pm: "Mary Tyler Moore"
Episode 129 - "Ted's Wedding"

1:30: "Rhoda"
Episode 42 - "Attack on Mr. Right"

2pm: "The Waltons"
Episode 7 - "The Sinner"

3pm: "Wings"
Episode 147 - "Love Overboard"

3:30: "Hooperman"
Episode 3 - "Don We Now Our Gay Apparel"

4pm: "The Cosby Show"
Episode 166 - "Total Control"

4:30: "The Ropers"
Episode 7 - "Stanley the Ladies Man" (see earlier airing's note)

5pm: "TVLand Awards: A Celebration of Classic TV"

7pm: "The Love Boat"
Episode 2 - "Oh Dale!/The Man Event/A Tasteful Affair"

8pm: "Mary Tyler Moore"
Episode 129 - "Ted's Wedding"

8:30: "Rhoda"
Episode 42 - "Attack on Mr. Right"

9pm: "Three's Company"
Episode 8 - "Jack Looks for a Job"

9:30: "Hooperman"
Episode 3 - "Don We Now Our Gay Apparel"

10pm: "The Cosby Show"
Episode 166 - "Total Control"

10:30: "Wings"
Episode 147 - "Love Overboard"

11pm: "Mannix"
Episode 192 - "Hardball"

TVLand has bent over backwards, imo, to do this. This is such a GREAT way to honor a GREAT man. Many of these performances of his haven't been aired in years, and TVLand is doing a GREAT job at this. Nice to see "Three's a Crowd," "Hooperman," "Rhoda," "Starsky & Hutch" and "Mannix" on there! I'm gonna be taping all day long! One thing puzzles me though.....why are they showing "Mannix" so late, after some shows are repeated...

It is wonderful that TVLand will be honoring John; he is definitely, without a doubt, one of the finest physical comedians in history and one of the most popular. He certainly deserves all of it.

Wow. That's the biggest tribute I've ever seen TV Land give. It's a nice tribute though, and they must have been given special rights for "Mary Tyler Moore" and "Rhoda" among others

Cool. There's something I never see Wings on during the day.

I'm glad there giving John Ritter a tribute. He totally deserves it.

That's one of the best tributes that I have seen TV Land give. The one thing that TV Land has missed in their John Ritter tribute was the guest appearance he made on Life With Lucy. The episode is called "Lucy Makes A HIT With John Ritter". That particular episode is considered one of the BEST episode of that entire series. Anyways . . . that show should have been into the tribute because Lucille Ball really adored John Ritter a lot. From what I heard, she was one of John's role models too.

What an amazing day of John Ritter TV. I'm really looking forward to it and what a great tribute to him it will be.

This starts tomorrow morning at 9 a.m., correct?

The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

Yes, it does start at 9AM (6AM for me, since I live in California) I figured TV Land would do a tribute to Ritter, but I didn't expect a day long tribute. Apparently, he is one of the best comedians ever, even though I've never seen Three's Company. I have, though, seen "8 Simple Rules" many times last year, and of the few shows today that I could get into. My hearts and prayers go to his wife, Amy, his children, and the cast he left behind. We'll miss you, Ritter.

Ill be watching and taping from the moment it starts until the very end. Both TVLand and Nick.

I've had TVland on this afternoon and they are playing small commercial like tributes to John. They are very very nice.
