Hey guys, does anyone know Lucy and Desi's heights, I've heard different people say different stuff..but what was their heights? lol

Lucy was 5'7 1/2 inches tall, and then Desi I'm not really sure because Lucie says that he was 5'11, but then I've also heard that he was closer to Lucy's height.

Yeah, I thoguht that was Lucy's height. But Desi wasn't that tall was he? I would say he looked about 5'8 or 5'9..because he and Lucy looks about the same height. And sometimes Desi had to wear those heeled shoes to make him seem taller than Lucy.

Yeah, Desi looks to be more like 5'8 or so to me too.

I always heard that Lucy towered over Desi when she wore high heels. I also heard that they had to put a special cushion on the couch in the "I Love Lucy" living room set because when Lucy and Desi sat on it together, she looked taller than him.

I think that Desi's torso was shorter than Lucy's torso, which would explain why he looked shorter when they were sitting down next to each other. That doesn't necessarily mean that she was taller than him when they were standing up. He might have wore a little bit of a heel, but remember she wore high heels often. Although they may have been closer in height than 4 inches.

I think you're right Ricardos4ever. I think he was maybe 5'9 but had a shorter torso like you said so sitting down he looked alot shorter. I never noticed those pillows and things until someone on the boards pointed them out. Now I notice them all the time.

Me too! I always think it's funny how there's this one little thin cushion and then a big fluffy one right next to it.
