I just heard that this afternoon. My mom told me. I can't believe it. At first I thought maybe my mom misunderstood because Johnny Cash also passed today. And they were both named John.
But, no we lost both of them. Rest in peace guys.

He and Lucy are now making them laugh in Heaven. Still unfair though. He was much too young.

I was so shocked when my dad told me that John Ritter had died. He was only 54, and that is much too young. Rest in Peace.

He was right up there with Lucy in the physical comedy department, which was probably why she loved watching him so much. I loved watching him, too. He will be missed.

Lucille Ball and John Ritter will always hold a special place in my heart. They were two of the best of the best performers that I have seen during my lifetime. I'm just so grateful that I was given the priviledge of watching them. Both of them are severely missed.

He is definitely up there with Lucy as one of the greatest physical comics of all time. Ironic though that he passed away of almost the same thing as Lucy (complications with the aorta) RIP John You will be missed

I can't take it anymore. Too many people are dying. First Katie Hepburn, Bob Hope, then Johnny Cash and John Ritter, now thw Williams sisters' older sister. It's emotionally torturing. I can't take it anymore.

It is very sad only 54. I was watching E New Live and they kept showing clips of Three's Company and refering to John as him. So I was assuming Don Knotts had died. That wouldn't have surprised me since he is much older. But then they said John and I was in shock.

Well hooray. The Times finally managed to run an obit for John Ritter at the weekend. I was beginning to think they'd not noticed. It's been Johnny Cash all week, but I've got to say - not a fan. I'm really sad about Sheb Wooley though, and there's been no obits for him over here at all yet. I shall start to sulk.

Monty Wooley's brother? Nice tribute to John at yesterday's Emmy awards. We lost LOTS of great people this past year!

Son, I think. Singer of One Eyed, One Armed, Flying Purple People Eater amongst other things, but I prefer to remember him for his Westerns. He was Pete Nolan in Rawhide. Nice bloke or so it always appeared. He had his own website of sorts for some time. Wonderful anecdotes and fascinating stories.
