that's to bad because I get very upset if I miss a show. It's to bad you guys don't live in the central time zone where we get fol at 9:00-10:00. But if I do miss it since they show fol again at 12:00 I sometimes sneak down stairs and watch it. ( that's if my parents are sleeping) So maybe that will help you out.

My mom doesn't bother me about going to bed, and I'm in eighth grade. I don't go to bed until about 11:45 or 12, and then I get up at 6 in the morning. I'm one of those people who can pop out of bed (even though I hate to face the day) wide awake. I guess that's why she doesn't bother me about it. That and the fact she goes to bed at 9.

once i started really getting into FOL, my mom and i silently worked out an agreement(meaning it's what happened and it worked so that is what i do) and what happens is, i watch FOL until 11 and then, i got straight to bed. if i dont get up in the morning, she threatens to make me stop watching FOL like shell say ok, no FOL tonight! and then i just get up cause if i didnt see it, i would be so pissed. i am in the 8th grade and this pisses me off sometimes, but i get used to it!

I have no problem. I'm in 6th grade and I go to sleep at 11:00.
One reason is because I have a t.v in my room so my mom doesn't bug me.

Glad I'm in college now, through high school I used to go to bed at like 9:30. I was a big dork who just needed a lot of sleep. If Facts of Life had started airing back then I might've never seen it. Of course then it was on USA anyway. Now though I LOVE the time slot it's in. It's perfect. I used to hate nothing was on between 10 and 11. All my regular shows and by 10 and then Friends reruns at 11. So this is just the best. I don't know how you kids stay up that late. But if you can get up in the morning, it's fine, I just know I'd be incapeable of handling it.

lol, I'm in 3rd grade, and I go to bed at 11:00. I have my own TV, and if she ever took it away, i'd sneak in the office and get it when they are asleep and watch the 2:00.

i agree! my mom always yells at me to come up to bed at 10:30 and then all the good episods or the ones i want to see are at 10:30 and it pisses the hell out of me. I mean I wake up early enough in the morning and always so tired that a half and hour will not make any difference!

Man, you guys are good. I think I would've passed out in the middle of class if I had stayed up that late when I was that young. I used to think staying up until 10 was a big deal. I never had a bed time, I just wanted to go to bed early. I know, I was weird. Who knows, if Facts of Life was on that late I might've stayed up for it. Although it was in its original run then and I don't remember if I watched it or not.

LoL, TVAddict, I think one reason I stay up so late is the fact that I run on a lot of caffine. Not chocolate, though. I hate chocolate. But I drink at least 3 or 4 cans of Coke a day, or Pepsi, or any kind of pop, really. I know that's probably why I can stay up late, but I have no idea how I wake up, sine I don't have anything to eat or drink in the morning (I get up at 6 and catch the bus at 7:30, and it makes me sick to eat that early) and I don't have lunch until 11:30. Wait a minute... does Fruitopia have caffiene in it? They stopped selling pop at my school and all they sell now is Fruitopia and I refuse to bring my own pop to school so I have to drink nasty Fruitopia and I've been really tired during Algebra and English lately (which I have starting right after lunch) and I'm thinking, if Fruitopia doesn't have caffiene in it maybe that's why, since I'm so used to caffiene at lunch. If it does have caffiene, then I'm completely lost as to why I've been tired. Anyway, I know this is off topic so I'll shut up now...

I have a problem like yours.I go to bed at 9:30 and only see one episode ,but on the weekends I can stay up as long as I want. The problem with the 9:30 limit is that they usally air good episodes that I have to tape like Down and Out in Malibu Part 2 or 7 Little Indians.

I think all of you young kids should be grateful that you're young enough to be told by your mother's that you need to go to bed instead of watching tv. I always want to stay up to watch the Facts of Life but can't stay awake long enough. I always fall asleep before the second one comes on. Be grateful for your youth.
