A comedy or a dramedy? Sure, Cheers had plenty of laughs, but it also had its share of tearjerking moments. I vote dramedy.

Comedy.
Its just laugh-out-loud hilarious. Sure, there are some serious moments, but at its heart- pure comic genious. I would consider "The Wonder Years" more of a dramedy. |

I think Cheers is more of a comedy. It had some drama, but it was mostly comedy. M*A*S*H is more of a dramedy.

Watching the first season again, Cheers, to me was a
dramedy in the first season. When Sam and Diane got together, it became a comedy. |

What do I consider cheers, besides the best show ever, a comedy that is funny everytime you watch it.

I consider it a comedy. It does have some serious moments but all sitcoms do. I agree that M*A*S*H is more of a dramedy, and I also think Ally McBeal is considered a dramedy too.

I think of it as a pure comedy. I dont remember any dramatic - type shows. Let me think for a minute. No, I cant come up with any right now.
