Default John Ritter Memorial

OK, I very sure that everyone is terribly saddened by John Ritter's death, because I know today I couldn't stop crying. So I thought, why don't we all say one thing that we like about Ritter, and why we will miss him. Maybe his family will see this and appreciate it. OK lets start now with me:

I really loved John Ritter as an actor! He was my idol, and I always wanted to be like him. I am going to miss him so much because he was soo good on 8 simple rules, and well, thats gone now! John u are the best actor america ever had!

John Ritter was my favorite actor. I loved all his work. No one could make me laugh like John could. Whenever I had a bad day, I would watch Three's Company and that would cheer me up. I also agree that John Ritter was the king of comedy.

He could ALWAYS ALWAYS make me laugh, and always seemed like a happy, fun person. Him and Three's Company...it's like my medicine. Always makes me happy when I'm sad. I can't believe this is all real.

Back in the day nothing topped threes company as far as I was concerned. But apart from the comedy he made a name for himself - his role in Slingblade comes to mind.

Mr. Ritter was one of a kind. He reminded me of Dick Van Dyke and his style. Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting him, I'm sure he really lit up a room with his humor and kindness. What a shock, he looked so healthly. A very sad day here on Earth, but I'm sure John is making them laugh in Heaven.

According to the fans who have met him, John Ritter did light up a room and was genuinely a nice guy. The following site has some fan accounts.

Not only a good actor, but from everything I've seen, heard, and read a good person. Thank-you John for the precious and wonderful gift of laughter! We will not soon see your like again.

Default RIP John Ritter

With my parents being strict, I'm shocked that I was able to grow up watching "T.C." when I was young, (the repeats and the tale end of the show in the 80's) seeing how dirty it was for its time.

Anyway, there are only a few comedians to date that made me cry, not tear, with laughter. Jim Carrey has done it, Peter Sellers, and John Ritter when he was on "TC" -- all have done it once. That's it, just 3 whole times in my life thus far.

"TC" and John Ritter will always be a part of my memories from childhood. I'm not one that saddens a whole lot from any specific death, unless it was someone who left their mark with me in some way -- as "TC" did in being one of my fav. childhood shows.
When I saw the news and his face on the screen with 1948-2003, I went jelly-leg and couldn't believe it.

I would just like to send my condolences to his family and friends and......THANK YOU John for the many memories I have of watching "TC" with my sisters, and for being the FIRST one to ever make me split my sides and cry with laughter. G.B. Always and RIP.

I just wanna say:

Thank you John for making me laugh. Introducing me to the world of comedy. In 2001, I watched my 1st Three's Company episode, and HE was the main reason. It was "Urban Plowboy", and I laughed more than I've laughed in years. I continued watching TC, and watched 8SR (whole season), and he is an amazing person. Everybody loves you, John. You WILL truly be missed.

RIP John Ritter (King of Comedy)

Thanks John. Whenever I felt sad I knew that I could turn on Three's Company and I'd be laughing in an instant. I've followed your career from The Waltons to 8 simple rules and was entertained every step of the way. You were the last person I expected to die. Although we never met, I always considered you a friend. R.I.P. my friend.
