Tonight, “20/20” will explore the life and career of actor John Ritter -- star of the ABC sitcom “8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter” -- who died late yesterday of a dissected aorta. “20/20” will look back at Ritter’s long and accomplished career as a television, film and stage actor and at the Emmy winning role on the 1970s hit show, “Three’s Company,” that made him a household name. The report will air on “20/20” tonight, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
