the girls are in the kitchen. mama dorothy blanche and rose are siting at the table and sophia is standing at the kitchen sink.

there's a dark cloud coming.

blanche
really?

sophia
yeah! it's really dark. it's almost dark as can be.

mama and blanche get up and look at it.

mama
good lord! i think there might be a severe thunderstorm coming.

rose
why don't we listen to the radio and see what it's going to do.

dorothy
good idea. i think i'll go and get my radio. it's in my room. dorothy exits

lightning flashs and thunder claps shaking the house.

sophia
hold on you guys i think we're going to die!

mama
sophia come on. i'm sure it's just a storm.

dorothy enters with the radio and she sits it on the table and turns it on.

hello my name is goarge house.

blanche

mama
shhh!

radio
there is a sever thunderstorm watch for north miami. this storm will preduce galf ball size hail,high winds,lightning and trinchule down poors. there is a possable chance for tornado's with this supercell.

the storm get's worse and the girls keep my the radio. the radio change's the watch into a warning.

sophia joking
there's a tornado comeing!

blanche
oh god!

sophia
just kidding.

mama
sophia don't make jokes like that. people have been killed and injured in tornado. people even lose there house.

lightning flashe's and thunder claps. the light's go out.

rose
who turned out the light?

dorothy
nobody rose the electricity went out.

blanche
i'll get the candles.

blanche runs and get's the candle's

end of act one

the girls are lighting the candle's and start talking.

mama
you know? we can have some of our specual moments my candle light.

blanche
you know i think your right. this reminds me of my favorite date's.

sophia
you remember every date.

dorothy
i remember that one time when blanche was going to get married. it was when ma first moved in with us.

blanche
oh i know what your talking about. your talking about harry the one that got arrested.

mama
what happened?

i remeber it really good. it was in september 1985.

fade to dream sequince.
dorothy walks into the house.

dorothy
i tought a class today. the finest school of dane county. two girls have shaved heads and three boy's have green hair.

man
well there exspressing themselves.

dorothy
well i expressed myself. i told them they had to leave. they were to ugly to look at. well a father came in in a three peace suit and defended tiffany. a bald girl with a nose ring.

dorothy is opening a door and sophia walks in.

dorothy
ma! ma what's the matter?

sophia
i'm fine no one died the home burned down.

dorothy
oh my god are you alright how did you get here?

sophia
i hitched.

dorothy
ma!

i took a cab.

well you should've called.

sophia
i don't need help i'm a very indapendant person.

blanche is walking in from the bathroom crying.
blanche
i can't beliave it. i'm getting married. what do you thing of that? oh!

rose
i think it's a mistake.

dorothy
to where all that make up.

i know it's fast but i don't know where i find another like him. oh girls he makes me fell so good so young so happy.

dorothy
oh rose do you hear that? so happyyy.

blanche
no i have to go to the bathroom again. when i get nervuse i have to all the time. that's wye i'm getting married here at the house. puplice bathrooms are just so diffacult for me. i wash my hands so throughtly. i find it's hard to get out again without touching the door knob.

blanche exits

rose
don't!

dorothy grabs rose and holds her hand over rose's mouth.
rose that's a happy woman in there. i want you to promise not to say anything. do you promise? do you promise?! rose shakes her head. are you sure. rose shakes it again. blanche enters

but what's got me so sad. oh ho ho ho. i just never never had two better friends and i just can't stand thought of leaving you. kisses rose on the cheak and dorothy doe'se the same.

dorothy
oh blanche you look gorgiose. shut up rose! blanche are you ready?

blanche
yes i guess.

rose
don't!

dorothy grabs rose by the arm and trows her in the closet and closes the door. man walks in.

man
the ministers here.

the man fixes the bed and rose knocks on the door.
fade to the ceramony in the living room. blanche inters back into the house.

blanche
he's a half an hour late.

man
he probably got cought in traffic.

minister
ladie's i'm in a tight schedule. this is miami i've go funerals backed up.

man
give us a few minutes please!

minister
five minutes more and i've got to bury mr. pinkuse.

doorbell rings

man
see?

blanche opens the door to a policeman.

policeman
is there a blanche holinswearth here?

blanche
he's been killed.

policeman
arrested.

the policeman tells her way and exits.

man

dorothy
blanche do you wanna read the note? blanche shakes her head no. do you want me to read the note. blanche hands the note to dorothy and dorothy reads it.

end of act two

faded out of dream sequince. the girls are still sitting around the kitchen table and the storm is almost over.

mama
blanche that must have been heart breaking.

it was for a little while.

sophia
yeah since then she's sleeped with every man in town.

dorothy
yeap. she was a reguler old tramp.

blanche smiles

mama
oh dorothy that sounds a bit harsh calling blanche a tramp. althought it doe'se sound a bit like naomi.

blanche
thelma just what was it like first knowing a naomi.

mama
well it wasn't to bad.

fade to dream sequice.
mama walks into the kitchen.

naomi
well i'm sorry but when a person's feed up they're feed up and i'm feed up. now i want you to take care of this situation for me right this very minute.

Jeez, whoever this person was has horrible all-around grammar, terrible name spelling, and missed some parts of the flashbacks!....All-in-all, a great script!
