Default It's not "Nick-at-Nite". It's "Cosby-Cheers-Three's Company-at-Nite".

I am so sick and tired of these three shows. Why doesn't the
network change it's name to C-C-TC@Nite? Why do they
beat these 3 shows like a dead horse? Why can't they show
about 7 or 8 different sitcoms between, say, 7:30 PM to midnight?
Don't tell me that tons of people tune in every night to see these
three shows-I don't buy it. Every d@mn time I turn on NAN, it's
one of these 3 shows. It's like a radio station that plays the same
5 songs over and over. Don't they know people are sick of it?
All these great sitcoms just sitting on a shelf somewhere.
You know, I think it'd even be better if they did a different line up
every night of the week. Of course, I know I'm not posting
anything new.......just wanted to come in here and vent!

I agree with you on all of this. Nick at Nite needs more variety. All their good shows, except for Cheers, are on after 1 in the morning. Of course, it's going to get worse next month, with the wretched Full House at 9, Cosby at 10, Roseanne at 11, and more Cosby at 12. At least Cheers and Three's Company are watchable.

Something I think N@N should do is drop Wings and Coach. Take them off, put an hour of Full House in overnight. Then give them to Spike TV. Spike TV, in turn, might make Wings and Coach into their Designing Women and Golden Girls. They could run them in place of Real TV and Blind Date and possibly pull in a bigger number of viewers. Just a thought.

N@N used to be my favorite channel. Now I just avoid it. (With the exception of the occassional Wings episode)

Well soon, TC will be moving back to its all-too-familiar graveyard slot at 2am, a slot it has held for an eternity (well not really, but it has been there for at least a year and a half). I say NAN should stop torturing us TC fans and give TC to TVLand where it can be treated right! A nice primetime slot! A good early morning slot, and last but certainly not least, our good old reliable 2am slot! *wipes sweat off of forehead* That is all I have to say...

Default Black&White

For me, Nick hasn't been the same since they quit showing anything that is in black and white, such as "I Love Lucy" and "My Three Sons".

I like all 3 shows currently on N@N, but I think "double-takes" should be done away with, giving more shows, more time.

As much as I love Cheers, I would rather have 1 episode a night, along with 1 episode of 5 other shows from 9:00 - 12:00.

Its the double-takes, and for TCS (another favorite) DOUBLE-double-takes, that are killing the network.

Id rather spend my time watching 1 episode of 6 different series, than double-takes of 3 different series, especially when TCS gets ANOTHER double-take!

I wonder what their deal with no variety is...variety's what attracts people, isn't it?

Thanks everyone for the replies! It's just getting so redundant. They must think the average viewer has an IQ of 10 and we "can't handle" variety. Then again, I got to thinking. Lifetime's 3 favorites seem to be GG, DW, and The Nanny. I didn't even know LT had GG on at 11am CDT, but there it was. Not that I'm complaining. I remember back in the mid-late 80's and into the 90's, it seemed like N@N had a different show on every half hour. I guess maybe it's "cheaper" for them to keep playing only a few shows, but if that isn't the case, throw us a boatload of shows!

I'm tired of N@N too. All they ever show at a decent time is Cheers, The Cosby Show, and Three's Company.

Hey but Three's company and Cosby get their full 2 hours every Friday and Saturday. Cheers Gets pushed back all the way to 1:30. How many Cosby Marathons did we have last year?

Whenever a new show comes they don't even think about moving Cosby But without the slightest hesitation Cheers is the first one to go. I agree with what was said earlier though. It should be a half an hour per show, like it use to be back when I love lucy, Mary tyler Moore, Taxi, and Happy days were on.
