I'm pretty sure that the skit was from SNL...

It was more than 4 years ago and all I remember was a guy brought home his girlfriend over and the perents and the guy and girl were eating dinner. Anyway, the one of the parents started chewing their food and then they reach over and spit the food into the son's mouth and they continue doing this through the skit. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone remembers when this episode aired or who was in that skit. Thanks a lot!

The episode you are thinking of was an SNL episode. The host was Julianna Margulies, who played the date, and Will Ferrel played the dad, Ana Gasteyer (I think) played the mom, Chris Kattan played the kid brother, and Chris Parnell played the guy with no salivary glands. I am pretty sure this sketch was broadcast sometime between 1998-2001. It was broadcast right after Marguiles left ER.
