I had a feeling "Rooster" by Alice in Chains would be in the top 10.

Awesome songs on that list!! Your radio station kicks bootay!! There are 2 rock radio stations here in Orlando who don't play 75% of those songs, so I guess it's safe to say they suck!!

That's a great list! My only complaint about the choices is that These Dreams by Heart didn't make it. That's a great song. But other than that, I think the people of Seattle made some good choices.

I just noticed that about Heart as well on the list, people seemed to forget that Heart had a career resurgence in the mid-80's after a few commercially disappointing albums in the early 80's. Heart has really been big this summer playing at White River Ampitheater (where I saw Ozzfest) and at EMP in Seattle.
Btw, Brooklynguy's list should go on the Top 1000 thread, this KISW Top 99 Seattle song list is a different list all together, but I'm still going to include your list of 80's songs!! Good selection!

Btw, the list of Seattle songs by KISW was about songs by artists from Seattle, from the Sonics in the 60's (I actually requested "The Witch") to Queensryche to Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and others.
Next Sunday, they're going to have the Top 99 AC/DC songs!!
