Default Love at first site?

When you watched your first episode what were your thoughts did you like or hate and then ended up liking it. Or even when you saw commercials for the show coming......what did you think. At first when I saw commercials I was pissed I didn't want it to come then when I saw it I was as confused as hell, but I grew to love it after I learnd there names.

And who was your favorite charectar and has it chnged? My first was Carla.........now I don't know I really like Diane and Rebecca.

I hated the show at first...I don't know why, but I did. My favorite characters are Cliff and Frasier. I always liked them.

ha. I didnt give Cheers a chance at first because it pushed back Threes Company. Once I sat down and actually watched it I was like, " Hey this show is sick". Norm was always my favorite. Like the sig says. George Wendt Forever.

I first caught a glimpse of Cheers during a Rebecca scene and I HATED it with a passion! lol

Then I saw Give me a ring sometime and fell in love with the Show, and Sam and Diane...

The show really confused me at first.

I thought the Rebecca Years were first, then Sam bought the bar, and THEN Diane came in.

I was always a big N@N fan, and Family Ties started at about the same time. Once in a while Id stay up and watch, but I wasnt really a "fan" until the next summer/fall.

When I first saw that Cheers was coming to Nick @ Nite, my only wish was that it wouldn't interefere with The Brady Bunch (My favorite at the time) show coming on. Sure enough, The Brady Bunch was kicked off, and I was forced to get a life and find some other show. I always turned the TV off when Cheers came on. I hated it- and all because it made my favorite show go off the air! I watched a part of an episode, and it made no sense, so the show went to my "top shows that really suck" list.
Then I remember that one night I was watching the show, and saw Kirstie Alley on there, and for some reason, thought that she looked like "Chessie" from "The Parent Trap" (obviously, it wasn't her). So I began watching it, since there was never anything good on, and eventually, I thought it rocked... plus, Kirstie Alley is now my favorite actress, thanks to the show.
In other words, I was another one who hated and loved it.
Oh yea... and when the Rebecca years were over and Diane came on, I got really confused... I had no idea where Rebecca went, or who the blonde was. Then, weeks later, I suddenly got the concept.
And one more thing- IF CHEERS GETS KICKED OFF OF NICK-AT-NITE, I WILL DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah I thought the same thing Tim did. At first I hated it and was upset it was taking the place of Facts of Life. But one night I watched the Woody Marathon and I was laughing so hard. My mom had to tell me to shut up because she was trying to sleep. After that I watched every night.

Facts of Life!!

That was the show that I had an obsession with before Cheers.
I still like it, but not as much.

I was bumbed when Family Ties and Cheers took over Facts Of Life, but now Im glad they did.

Does the Facts of Life even come on anymore? The first season was so great, Molly Ringwald is awesome. But Jo was always cool.
