Which western heroine do you think is tougher: Miss Kitty from "Gunsmoke" or Victoria Barkley from the "The Big Valley". My money's on Victoria. She used to wear lots of leather and blue jeans.

(Actually, though they never acknowledged this on the tv version, on the radio Miss Kitty was a prostitute...whether or not this makes her "tougher" than Victoria Barkley is for the rest of you to decide...)

Thats a no brainer - Victoria Barkley and thats because the actress who played her, Barbara Stanwyck, was one tough broad who didn't take crap from anyone. She brought that toughness to Victoria Barkley. Miss Kitty was
tough as well, but if it came done to knock down drag out toughness, my money would have to go on Stanwyck / Barkley.
