Research Help for Study of Sitcoms
I am looking to gather ideas, opinion, anecdotes and much much more in order to put together an intelligent book about sitcoms.
What I dont want is for this book to turn into : 1)A list of the 'best' sitcoms ever. 2) A show by show 'guide' What I'm after would resemble a well thought through, almost academic discussion of the sitcom formula and its evolution. Presented in a series of essays. I would be REALLY REALLY grateful if anybody here would contribute ideas for essays, or could suggest where I might find a wealth of stats such as viewing figures etc. Please do not hesitate to post back, any comments and ideas are welcomed! If anybody was really interested I would be happy to accept submissions for inclusion in the finished work.
