I'm supposed to be getting The Wonder Years from him but he wants me to send first. Has anyone traded with him before?

I have traded with him. The reson why he wants you to send first is because he will say he didn't like your tapes, then copy them for himself, then send the tapes you sent him back to you. The Wonder Years you were going to get from him, he got from me. It's nice to see he's trading them, even though he claimed to have sent them right back to me, and since they were "such horrible quality"

So glad you did a trader check first. Do not trade with this person. Have him send first if you want to trade. I never traded with him but he wanted to trade with me. Jason told me about the wonder years and I saw he had the wonder years on his list. After Jason sent it to him and said it was poor quality when it wasn't. Then the person in Canada got very rude with me since I wouldn't trade with him and said my tapes he wanted from me wasn't good quality if I thought Jason's tapes were good quality. I told him I could prove my tapes were good quality and that was the end of him for me. It mad me so mad.

Excuse me, but this is the "bad trader" taking some of his time to make the truth be known. Firstly, to jroxx2002: I don't know HOW you can still possibly believe (after over 2 months) that those WY eps were actually "good" quality. I would really love to see your definition of "good". I have to admit, the first two seasons were decent, but as I got to season three, the constant sound volume changes were too unbearable for me to endure. I guess you forgot to mention to me that four episodes were missing and the last half of the entire series was utterly UNWATCHABLE (then again, I guess it's been awhile since you've actually watched your own videos). Maybe you like viewing shows with a picture that shakes every two seconds and becomes distorted, sort of like a scrambled movie channel that you cannot receive...get what I'm trying to say? Anyway, this is not the point. The point is, I DID NOT copy those stupid WY recordings before returning them to Jason, as I obviously had no need for them. As I even explained this to Jason himself (it's a wonder this guy understands anything), I already had the whole WY series which I had recorded MYSELF from TV in excellent quality, grade A+, 100%, etc. I simply liked the show so much, I figured I might as well get a second set as backup copies from this Jason fellow, as I was already trading him for Boy Meets World (which were truthfully the worst quality eps I had ever received in my history of trading - and I doubt he denies this). Once I received his tapes in the mail, I immediately let him know I would send them back the next day. So, to conclude this essay, I don't really care or mind if THE TV Show Guy doesn't want to trade with me anymore - I don't think I can trust anybody anymore. It is very hard to find a decent trader on this board - the only good experiences I have had were those with eBay sellers. You guys should look up to them.

it's funny that no one else on this board has complained about the quality of my tapes. As far as not having any luck with traders, I've had nothing but good expierences trading with people from this board.

oh no! not another one of these traders, words done in bold for overemphasis , always the accuser, (what happened to polite responses it will get you a lot further )they come out with huge responses to everything aimed at them i bet your emails aren't like this, if people cant trade with someone like tvshowguy then thre must be a problem

Well, they're obviously too scared to tell you the truth or just too lazy to even care.

Yeah, I'm sure you have, as long as you get what you want and the others receive your fine collection.

I'm sure Jason has traded with alot of people on this board like you have to. And maybe even the same people. You could of sent him what he wanted for the tapes you thought were good.

That makes no sense whatsoever.

If you had excellent tapes and wanted backups, you could easily make copies of your own.

But you want everyone to believe it was because you were already trading with someone you would ask him to make you a copy of an entire series?

Of one you had?
Grade A+?

Come on.

Read that quote again and see how ridiculous you sound.
