I've been watcing the pilots featured this week on Trio.
"Lookwell" was hysterical. It truly could have been a cult classic. "Beat Cops" was great too. It featured Jon Benjamin, who was on "Dr. Katz" and "Home Movies." I think that show was ahead of it's time. It would be great on Comedy Central now. "Dear Diary" was okay, and Bebe Neuwirth was great, but it was missing something. Oh yeah, humor. "L.A. Confidential" was pretty good, but it wasn't great. Pretty stylish though. "Fargo" really captured the style of the film it was based on, but it was a little dull. Kudos to Edie Falco for a good performance. Have yet to check out the George Clooney/Pam Dawber pilot. I taped it last night. |
