This is one of my most favorite Wings episodes. I wish I could see it. It is Brian at his best. Of course, he's always good
"It's a pretty sad country when anyone can walk up to a counter and buy meat." Of course, Antonio should have been the one that Brian was suspicious of being a serial killer (Anyone who is familiar with The X-Files should know what I'm talking about.)

I cannot stress this enough, but IIIIIIIIIIII CANNOTTTTTTTTTTTT
WAITTTTTTTTTTTTTT until tonight!!!!!! I just love this episode and laugh everytime I watch it, especially the way Brian acts. When this episode first aired, I didn't see it, but my sister did and she taped it, and she told me "You've have got to watch this episode. It's too funny!!!" 'I was just waiting for the chainsaw to come ripping through the wall'!!! |

Oh my Gosh, I have not seen or thought about this episode in quite some time. Until I saw it tonight I had forgotten how funny it is. Definitely one of the funniest. I'm realizing much more this time around just how great of a character Brian is. I find I am enjoying his character more this time than ever before. <g>

I was just WAITIN' FOR THE CHAINSAW TO COME RIPPIN' THROUGH THE WALL...'" ::flurry of tie:: -------------------------------------------- "It's more than a barbeque. It's more than a car. It's a car-b-q." -------------------------------------------- Anne |

Yes, I am also enjoying the "early" Brian in these episodes. You don't realize how crazy and kid-like he was until you see these first few seasons again. Although he was always funny, he seemed to lose some of that "crazy kidness" in later seasons....and don't even get me STARTED on his super-pathetic "Breaking Up With Alex" period. He eventually DID bounce back from that whiny, annoying stretch, but it was never quite the same...He was never as wild as in these early episodes. |

I watched this episode again today, and I wonder if anybody else noticed(especially Nantucket Wings), the tie with the state of Wisconsin that Brian was wearing. I've noticed him wearing this same tie on other episodes.
Another good part of this episode is when Roy says to Brian that he would let Brian stay at his place for a few bucks, and Brian says "Roy, I'm trying to get out of a place that's filled with disgusting creatures and poisonous gas" and then Roy says "So what's your answer".

and I loved the flurry of tie, as you put it. hehehe. and when he was impersonating the neighbors of killers who always say that the killer was always so nice.. and he was like "...he helped me build this dog pen." with the hand motion. hahahaha that was great.but yeah, this episode was really funny. It's not really one of my favorites, but I do agree that it was funny, and Brian was hilarious. lol! I did notice that the Brian of earlier seasons was sillier and goofier, and kid-like than later on. He was still goofy later on, but not the same.... hey! one great thing about being back in school is that I don't have to wake up at 7 AM for work anymore! I can stay up and watch Wings every night and actually be awake the next day since I don't have to be in class until 2 PM every day! ![]() ~Krista

Lucky you Krista, about school!
Steven Weber does such a great job with his physical acting. It makes it so much better to watch. Anne |
