Default eric's cultural heritage

i was watching the show tonight and noticed that when they were researching for their papers on their backgrounds eric said his mothers family came over from lithuania. if i remember correctly isnt it his mother's family he visits in russia?

Yeah true...or they justed messed up, cause they seem to do that a lot on sitcoms

Yeah, that was probably a mistake, but at least Russia and Lithuania are close to each other. At least they kept his family in the same continent; sitcoms and other TV shows have this habit of screwing up things like this.

Thats true they are close lol. Like in the Golden Girls, I love the show but they mess things up all the time

haha, i guess we got that question answered. but it still leaves one to kind of speculate. dont you think they always give the impression hes italian, he acts just like a wiseguy and wears the black leather jacket. maybe its just me, does anyone else see it that way?

I wouldn't necessarily say "Italian," but definitely the stereotypical tough "New Yawker," which can come in any race.

About HOTC "ethnicities":

On that episode (is that "As Time Goes By"? and if so, I better do a synopsis for it on TV Tome!), Simone says that she comes from a French family of philosophers and chefs.

On "Don't Play With Matches," while trying to deflect nerdy Oswald's come-ons ("Lean on me, Simone," he says), Simone says "We're Dutch...we don't lean!"

Another slip-up with that.
