Besides what is listed below I have a LOT of Donna Reeds. But like most of us I am looking for a lot of the 4th season shows, starting off with One Starry Night for a friend of mine, and as many CANDY MOORE guest appearance shows as possible, GALE GORDON appearances (most around 1961-63) and also one episode with guests John Astin and Cloris Leachman.
Can anyone help? I have tons of DONNA and also tons of other comedies and dramas as well from the 50s-70s. I can e-mail my work in progress video have list and answer other wants. THANKS. It seems you have quite a collection built up. I've been a DRS fan for a while now, but I have been interested in starting a collection of episodes until recently. How did you get started? Unfortunately, TVland rarely plays the show, so it's pretty hard to tape. I checked eBay, but nothing. Do people trade or something?

I only have a small number of episodes from TV Land. Most come from my local NBC station reruns. Some are from people selling on ebay and Nik-At-Nite reruns from the late 80s and early 90s.
It seems the fourth season shows are NEVER syndicated since the show ended its original run, those are the hardest to find (#114-#150 something). I especially am interested in the ones guesting Gale Gordon and Candy Moore of the Lucy Show, 1961, 1962 or so and my friend is looking for the first episode of the fourth season, One Starry Night, with James Darren (#114, Sept 14, 1961). |

So I'm pretty much limited to ebay? I've had bad luck with that so far. Do you sell copies at all? -A. Rich

I have the episode with John Astin and Cloris Leachman, and it is HILARIOUS! John Astin is absolute comic genious. If I can figure out what's wrong with my other VCR (I think it just needs the heads cleaned) I can copy it for you.

Are you familiar with this one? This is one of my favorite episodes, but I could not tie it down to any of the descriptions in any of the online episode guides. It also had a nice instrumental soundtrack during the dance with a sax that was remeniscent of some of the "twist" songs of the times.
I posted this awhile back, but came up empty on information: I recall an episode a few years ago when Donna Reed was running on Nick @ Nite. The episode centered around a college dance and Mimsy Farmer played Jeff's girlfriend who went to the dance with Mary's boyfriend (Jimmy Hawkins). I am guessing it was the 1962-1963 season, but cannot locate it on any of the online episode guides. I was curious as to the original air date. Thanks, John W. |

The episode is "Boys and Girls" but my Joel Eisner Guide only lists Cheryl Miller as a guest.
I got the info by going to google and searching "Mimsy Farmer". One of the sites that came up was tvtome's actress credit page for her, and the episode is listed there. She also did a bunch of other shows like Laredo, and Perry Mason. I have that episode as #181 on my video have list. http://hometown.aol.com/rtususian/myhomepage/sale.html |
