Default Remember This TIH Blooper!!?

Guys,

In the episode where David works at a school and finds that a little boy is being abused by his father. (Some of the violence in this episode may be cut by Sci-Fi) there is a scene where David is talking about the abusive dad. The dubbed in version has Banner's line talking about the family (the Hollingers) and the first charactor says something that Mr. Holinger is an alcoholic (can't remember exactly....and David says....'He's also a child beater, and that makes him very dangerous."

Listen carefully to Banner's word "child." It is dubbed in! The original airing of the episode, which also ran on "TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes" Bill Bixby scews up his line and it didn't get dubbed until syndication...He says (regarding Hollinger)

"He's also an eggbeater! And that makes him very dangerous!"

I remember that to this day!

Yea....Bixby mistakenly said "Egg Beater!" How that got past the production crew I have no idea! But, you would have to have seen the show in it's original run. When the "Child Abuse" episode comes on, you will hear the world "CHILD" over-emphasized in that line to cover up the glaring mistake!

Thanks for bumping it back up!

I have it taped but have yet to catch it. I'll be checking it out again, though.

Hey Classic!

LOL!!! I assume you are watching a DVD or an uncut version of that episode right? Because Sci-Fi dubs the word "child" very emphatically over the word "egg!"
