Default "My Brother's Back - And There's Gonna Be Trouble"

This episode last night- it was the first time I had seen that one.
I thought it was hilarious. Brian had me laughing for just about the whole episode. he is nuts!
For some reason I can't remember any specific parts that were funny- I just remember laughing at Brian- a lot. More than usual even.
I noticed that Brian can get really stressed out, but he doesn't freak out- he deals with it by being even goofier than normal. He seems to like being stressed out. lol!

and then when Joe came back, and walked into the madness in the airport, just as everyone was ready to attack Brian, so he yelled at everyone to be quiet, and then the psychic woman comes over and goes "YOU have been in the plane!!" and grabs Joe's face *smack*. I was laughing sooooo hard. hahahaha!

What did the rest of you think of this episode?

What a funny episode....and it was the first time that I had seen it too! (I never realized how many of these early ones I haven't seen before!).

The funny thing about Brian is that although he constantly ridicules and irritates Joe with smart-aleck cracks, when Brian really messes up he gets so SCARED of Joe getting mad at him!

Another thing about this episode and the "Wings" series in general....I have never seen a sitcom get so much funny mileage out of physical pain as "Wings" does!

Think about it....Joe's bad back and broken nose, Helen's extracted wisdom teeth, Brian's bruised tailbone....and of course Antonio's too-tight new shoes! OUCH!

I'm sure that there are other ailments that I've forgotten, but "Wings" can even get laughs out of PAIN!

Although this wasn't one of my favorite episodes it still had its moments (like all Wings episodes). The best part for me was Brian's swift downfall from cocky assurance when he thinks he has everything under control to his near emotional breakdown at the end. Steven Weber really was great at this type of comedy.

Yes, I love Brian's line to himself: "Things are starting to unravel!"

Okay Ladies, be honest, how many of you would have loved to trade places with the candystriper and been able to shave Joes body. And the look on his face when she used the strop to sharpen the razor. I remember when I had a hernia and I had to be shaved. It wasn't a pleasant feeling. Though my nurse did say she was sorry but a male orderly had to come in and do the deed.

Blackbeard, you probably scared the poor girl off when you started singing "Isn't It Romantic?" at the top of your lungs!

This episode was all Brian(well, mostly Brian) and it was great! I taped this episode and didn't really pay attention to the crew credits at the beginning and thought maybe Tim directed this episode since he wasn't in it much. Then I checked and he didn't. Brian was cracking me up running around like he was and when Fay was singing those Irish songs and Brian was walking real fast out of the hanger clapping for Fay.

Oh, and at the end when Joe tells Helen "the doctor told me you're on my list of don'ts for about a week." I think by the end of that week, I'd definitely be ready for him, then I'd be throwing my back out!!

This episode is one of my favorites too. Like Krista, it's hard to pick out one funny part. The whole episode was just one long laugh

This is one of my all time fav. Wings episodes. I loved the part where Brian told that candy striper to shave Joe from head to toe "I want him as smooth as the day he was born"
