Magda's Reality

Hello folks. I know what you are going to say, "Another Story". This one is good though. I did this Fan Fic with Kiera (ReturningFolFanKiera). Give us both credit. Tell us what you think.
The parts I wrote will have a (J) and Kiera's will have a (K). Enjoy.

Jinny and Magda are in the bathroom. Magda's is waiting for the Home Pregnancy Test results.

(J) Magda-How much longer?
Jinny-It will be done in a minute will you sit down?
Magda-I can't. I'm nervous.
Jinny-There is nothing to worry about. It's done.
Magda-Will you look at it for me? I can't.
Jinny-Alright. Oh gosh.
Magda-What?
Jinny-You're pregnant Mag.
Magda-I knew it. What am I going to do??
Jinny-Mag, how can this be?
Magda-I think you know Jinny!!
Jinny-I didn't mean it THAT way. You going to tell Jonah?
(K) Magda- Well...
Jinny- Mag, you can't exactly hide it from him...
Magda- I know, but I think it could wait at least until I see him tomorrow.
Jinny- You're seeing him tomorrow?
Magda- Yes. We need to talk.
Jinny- I'll say.
Magda- No, not about that, Jin. About... us.
Jinny- Mag, Gabe's the one you married, but I can't tell you how to live your life or what to do with it.
Magda- Yeah, I know.
Jinny- I just hope you make the right decision.

She folds up the little paper that comes with the HPT kit.

(J) Magda-Me too. Let's get back to work.

Jinny and Magda leave the bathroom back out to the Division.

CD-Magda, are you OK?
Magda-Yes, why?
CD-You just look a little, I don't know, flushed.
Magda-*sighs* I'll be right back.
Raina-Jinny??
Jinny-What?
Raina-Don't give me that. What's going on?
Jinny-Nothing.
Raina-You two were in the bathroom for 15 minutes and you both came out with strange looks on your face.
Jinny-Raina, haven't you ever heard the phrase 'mind you own business'?
Raina-Nope. Now spill.
Jinny-Well, no I can't tell you. You will find out sooner or later. *leaves*
Raina-Something's up. Something big.
CD-Absolutely.
Raina-So where's Nate?
CD-He went home right after Captain go out of surgery.
Raina-You two were there for a long time. What did you too do.
CD-Nothing. *blushes*
(K) Raina- Uh uh, c'mon, spill it, girl! I want details.
CD- Maybe Jinny's right...
Raina- Right about what?
CD- You miding your own business. You're a gossip.

She goes back to her desk, leaving Raina to think on that. Meanwhile, Jinny walks back into the bathroom.

Jinny- Mag, you in here?
(J) Magda-*sniffles* Yes. *comes out*
Jinny-Mag, what's wrong?
Magda-There's something I didn't tell you.
Jinny-What?
Magda-Jonah told me that he didn't want the baby. He would pay for it and that's all. *breaks down crying*
Jinny-Mag, it's going to be okay.
Magda-No it won't. Once that baby is born, Gabe will know that it isn't his and he'll leave me. Nothing will be alright again.
Jinny-Whatever you decide Mag, I'm here for you. I'm always here for you.
(K) They hug for a long time and CD walks in. She gives Jinny a questioning look and Jinny tells her with her eyes 'not now'. CD nods and walks back out. When Magda calms down a little, her and Jinny sit on the bench in the bathroom and just talk for a while. Not about anything specific, though. After she feels she's calm enough to walk back out and face everyone, Magda gets up and walks out. Jinny follows after her, silently wondering how Jonah could tell her that. She walks out, still thinking.
(J) By the look on Jinny's face, no one asked any questions. It was finally the end of the day. Jinny caught Magda before she left.

Jinny-Mag, you want to come wih me? I'm going to get some dinner. My treat.
Magda-Thanks. I'd love to.

Meanwhile, after that long kiss Nate and CD shared, CD just sat by the phone, hoping it would ring. She was hoping that Nate felt the same way she did. But the only problem was that she wasn't exactly sure how she felt. They were partners. This would totally jeopardize their careers. What was she going to do? Then finally, the phone rang.

CD-*anxiously* Hello?? No, I'm not interested in electronic pantyhose. *hung up*

She knew Nate wasn't going to call so she just went to bed.

Meanwhile, Jinny and Magda went to the Anchorside for dinner where they bumped into a co-worker.

Jinny- Nate? What are you doing here?
Nate- Just having a drink. Thinking about my life.
Magda- What's wrong with him?
Jinny- I don't know. Let's go eat.
Waitress- Hello I'm Erin and I will be your waitress. Can I get you something to drink?
Jinny- I'll have a Coke.
Magda- Some Iced Tea would be nice.
Waitress- Okay. I will be back.
Jinny- So? Are you okay?
Magda- I'm better but okay? No.
Jinny- It will all work out. You wait and see.
Waitress- Here are your drinks. Are you ready to order?
Jinny- I'll have a cheeseburger and some fries.
Waitress- OK. And for you?
Magda- I'll have the same.
Jinny- So, when should the baby be due?
Magda- To tell you the truth, I don't know. I'm going to call the doctor's tomorrow.
Jinny- Good luck. Let me know what happens.
Magda- I will.

The next morning, CD woke up and there were no meaasges on her machine. She was disappointed but she knew that she would see him at work.

Raina- Hi CD. How was your night?
CD- Fine. How was yours?
Raina- Alright.
CD- Where's Nate?
Jinny- Oh, he called off today. And Mag had an appointment.
CD- Oh.
Raina- I hear we are getting an acting Captain. Someone named Spikey.
Spivey- Spivey. S-p-i-
Jinny- We get the point!
Spivey- I see we have a bunch of moody Inspectors. Well, that won't last long. *went into Kate's office*
CD- Looks like we're gonna have a little trouble with this one.
Raina- Well, he won't be here long.
Delivery Man- CD Delorenzo?
CD- That's me. How can I help you?
Delivery Man- Sign here. We willbe in with your delivery.
CD- What delivery?
Delivery- We have 12 dozen flowers in the truck for you.
CD- From whom?
Delivery Man- I don't know. There's a card. *leaves to get the flowers*
Raina- Ooo. You got a secret admirer you didn't tell us about?
CD- I seriously don't know who they are from.
Jinny- Do you have any idea??
CD- Not a clue.
Delivery Man- He you go.
Jinny- Oh gosh CD. That's a lot of flowers.
Raina- Well, c'mon. Open the card up.

CD read the card. It says:
I won't state my name. Give you a hint. I wasn't at work today. Just know that I am thinking of you. Meet me the Anchorside at 12:30. I love you.

Raina- Well???
CD- Uh, it's from my--mother. My mother.
Jinny- What's the occasion for so many flowers?
CD- No occasion. She just sent them.
Raina- Well, that was nice of her.

Magda has been waiting for the doctor to come in for about 20 minutes. She is relly starting to become impatient. Finally, he comes in.

Dr. Walsh- Hi Magda. It's been a while. What brings you here.
Magda- Well, I took a home pregnancy test and it was positive. I just want to make sure that I am and that the baby's okay.
Dr. Walsh- Well, let's take a look. Gina, get me an ultrasound. Here we go. It looks like you are indeed pregnant Magda. You are about 4 weeks.
Magda- Is it alright?
Dr. Walsh- It looks just fine.

It is 12:30 and CD is at the Anchorside. But she doesn't see a sign of him.

Nate- *walks up behind her and kisses her neck* Hey gorgeous.
CD- Hi. Thanks for the flowers but boy did I have some explaining to do.
Nate- What did you say?
CD- I said they were from my mother.
Nate- Your mother??
CD- I was put on the spotlight Nate.
Nate- I know. I was going to call you last night but I wasn't sure if you wanted to talk to me.
CD- I felt the same way. That's why I didn't call you.
Nate- Well, we're together now. *start kissing**Her phone rings*
CD- *sighs* DeLorenzo. Yeah I will be right there.
Nate- Who was that?
CD- Our new acting Captain Spivey. He needs me to go over a few things. How about my apartment tonight at 8:30?
Nate- I'll be there. *kisses her one more time*

Magda is just walking into the Division now. All on the way home she was thinking about what she was going to do.

Jinny- Hey. How did it go?
Magda- *rolls over to Jinny's desk* I'm 4 weeks.
Jinny- So then it's definately...
Magda- Jonah's.
Jinny- What are you going to do?
Magda- I think I will talk to Gabe tonight. Hopefully he will understand.
Jinny- I'm sure he will. If you need anything, just call me.
Magda- I will.

Kate is in the hospital room getting ready to go home.

Kate- I am so happy I get to leave today.
Louis- Me too. You can go home, get some rest, stay off your feet.
Kate- I don't--- *Doctor walks in*
Doctor- You glad you're leaving.
Kate- No offense but yes!
Doctor- Understand completely.
Kate- Doctor, when will I be able to go back to work?

Magda is in the kitchen doing dishes while Ben and Gabe were watching TV.

Magda- Ben, time for bed.
Ben- *sighs* Alright. Goodnight Poppi.
Gabe- Night son.
Magda- Goodnight Ben.
Ben- Godnoght Mommy. *leaves*
Magda- Gabe, we need to talk.
Gabe- Alright.
Magda- Let's go into the kitchen.
Gabe- Why are you so nervous. Just tell me.
Magda- Well, to start off with. I'm pregnant.
Gabe- What? *excited* That's fantastic. How far along?
Magda- 4 weeks.
Gabe- 4 weeks that----I wasn't here 4 weeks ago.
Magda- I know. Gabe I--I...
Gabe- You had an affair??
Magda- Shh. Benjamin will hear you.
Gabe- I don't care. I'm very angry.
Magda- I know. You have every right to be.
Gabe- I can't handle this. *starts to go towards the bedrrom but stops* I didn't know you were a big SLUT! *goes into his room and slams the door*
Magda- Fine. Just fine. *Goes into Ben's room *
Ben- Mommy. What's going on?
Magda- Nothing sweetheart.
Ben- Why did daddy call you a slut?
Magda- He's just--*hears banging and screaming from the bedroom Gabe was in* Come on Ben.
Ben- Where are we going?
Magda- We're going to Aunt Jinny's for a little while ok?
Ben- Ok.

CD was getting her apartment all ready for Nate. She had taken all of the rose petals from the flowers that Nate gave her and spread them all over her bed.This was very unlike her but this was the happiest she has been in a very long time. Then she heard a knock at the door.

CD- Hey you.
Nate- Hi. I brought you a present.
CD- Champagne. You shouldn't have.
Nate- Anything for you. Let's crack this open. I also brought some glasses.
CD- Do you normally carry champagne glasses in your jacket.
Nate- Of course. You never no when you may need them. Here you go.
CD- Thank you.

It was 10:30 at night and Magda and Ben got right in the car and drove to Jinny's house. Ben fell asleep in the car so she had to carry him into Jinny's.

Magda- *knocks on the door*
Jinny- Magda? What are you doing here?
Magda- Can we spend the night here?
Jinny- Sure. Come in.
Magda- Thanks. Where should I put him?
Jinny- You two can sleep in my room. I'll bunk out on the couch.
Magda- Are you sure?
Jinny- Yes. Here. I'll take him. You get comfortable on the couch because we are doing some serious talking.
Magda- Okay. Thanks again.
Jinny- It's no problem.

So Jinny put him to bed and came out to the living room and saw Magda sitting on the couch crying.

Magda- Oh Jinny I am so sorry to bust in on you like this.
Jinny- It's ok Mag. Tell me what happend.
Magda- I told Gabe about the baby and he went all crazy. He called me a slut in front of Ben. When I heard slamming coming from Gabe's room, I left.
Jinny- Well, I'm glad you did.
Magda- I have never seen him like that before Jinny. I just...I was scared so I left.
Jinny- Well, you are staying with me and that's all there is to it.
Magda- Thank you. We won't be here that long. I promise.
Jinny- You are staying here as long as you need to. That is what best friends are for.

CD and Nate were still at her apartment. They were really really drunk.

CD- I feel wierd.
Nate- Yeah. Me too. Isn't it great?
CD- Absolutely. We need to clean this place up a little bit.
Nate- Why? We'll clean up later.
CD- Ok. What do you want to do now?
Nate- Well, there is one thing I want to do.
CD- And that would be?
Nate- This *leans in a kisses her*
CD- What are you doing?
Nate- I know this is what you want to.
CD- You realize what we are putting on the line here by doing this right?
Nate- Yes and I think it is worth the risk.
CD- Alright. *they start kissing passionately*

Sorry but I have to go out now. I will post more tonight.

It was now the next morning and CD had just woken up. It was 9:30. She was confused about what had happend the night before but was never so happy then when she woke up in Nate's arms.

CD-Nate. Nate, wake up.
Nate- What time is it?
CD- It's 9:30. We're late for work.
Nate- I don't care. *kisses her* Did you sleep well?
CD- Are you kidding? You should become a sleep therapist. I have never slept so good in my life. Maybe it was the company.
Nate- I'll take that as a compliment. *they kiss again*
CD- Come on Nate. We've got to go to work.
Nate- We're late now and in a few minutes we'll still be late.
CD- Nate I'm serious. We have to get ready.
Nate- OK. I'm going to go back home and change.
CD- What are you going to wear there?
Nate- What I wore last night.
CD- You can't. Don't you remember? We used it to play Tug 'or War last night.
Nate- We did?
CD- Yep.
Nate- Here I'll wear this.
CD- My pink bathrobe?
Nate- Well, I could always go outside naked if you want.
CD- Wear the robe.

Meanwhile at Jinny's house earlier that morning.

Jinny- Hi Mag. Did you sleep well?
Magda- Not really. I had a lot of trouble sleeping.
Jinny- Everything is going to be fine. Why don't you take the day off. Run over to the house and grab some clothes for you and Ben.
Magda-I was going to run over later but I can't miss work. I already took yesterday morning off.
Jinny- Are you sure because I can handle it.
Magda- No that's ok. The last thing I want to do is get that Spivey guy upset.
Jinny- He can go st---
Magda- Jinny! There is a child in the house.
Jinny- Oops. Sorry.
Magda- Speaking of which, I had better wake him up for school.
Jinny- Does he know what happend last night?
Magda- He heard Gabe call me a, you know, and then he knew we were going to your house but that's it.
Jinny- You probably don't want to give him too much information.
Magda- Yeah I don't want him to get the wrong idea.
Jinny- So what's going to happen now?
Magda- I have no idea. *pauses* I have no idea.

Now CD is just arriving at the Division. She was afraid Spivey was going to make a big deal about her being so late but she didn't really care. She had a great night.

Spivey- Inspecotr DeLorenzo, you are 2 hours late. Where is your partner.
CD-I'm not sure. My alarm clock didn't go off.
Spivey- Well, make sure that this NEVER happens again. Got it?
CD-Yes. *whispers a**hole under her breath*
Spivey- Excuse me? What was that?
CD- What? Nothing.
Spivey- That's what I thought.
Raina- CD, you have got Cheerio's in your hair.
CD- So that's where it went.
Jinny- *rolls over to CD's desk* What going on?
CD- Nothing. Why?
Jinny- C'mon CD. I'm not stupid. You were sleeping with your partner and the reason he is going to be late is because he had to go back to his house and change for work. How am I doing?
CD- Very well. I feel so dumb.
Jinny- Why? Nate is a handsome man. He is good to you. What is the problem?
CD- We're partners.
Jinny- So, you will simply get different partners.
CD- But I don't want a different partner.
Jinny- Well, you can't eat your cake and have it to.

Gabe had walked into the Division screaming at Magda.

Gabe- Where the hell is my son??!
Magda- Shh. Stop screaming. Come on in here. *they go into interrogation room 3*
Gabe- I asked you where my son is.
Magda- He is at school. Where else would he be?
Gabe- He is coming home with me.
Magda-I don't think so.
Gabe- I am his father. I have as much right to him as you do.
Magda-I wasn't the one screaming and throwing things last night now was I?
Gabe- Well, I wasn't the one having an affair.

It's bedtime for me. I will add more tomorrow. Enjoy!!!!
