DarleneIllyria Gone Forum Star Join Date: Oct 15, 2000 Posts: 19,086	Downey Jr. Out of Allen Movie Downey Jr. Out of Allen Movie August 26, 2003 ROBERT DOWNEY JR. will reportedly not be in WOODY ALLEN's next movie because the insurance to cover the actor is too high. Downey's past issues with drug abuse and falling off the wagon means that additional funds must be put up in order for the movie to be insured. The movie studio producing the picture and Downey's reps could not hammer out a deal. Allen is now reportedly looking at JASON BIGGS as a replacement. Downey does have two films coming out, including 'The Singing Detective' with MEL GIBSON and 'Gothika' starring HALLE BERRY. http://et.tv.yahoo.com/newslink/index.html#l1
