Hi everyone........ It's me again. My computer went ZOINK...... Grrrr...... It happened weeks ago because of sever thunder and lightning here. I'm glad to be back.....

If you are all listening heed this warning. If you know that Thunder or lightning will be fast approaching take the phone cables from behind the computer (in the back) out! I didn't do this and it messed up my innerds (Drives). (Just a little friendly advice...

A lightning storm came and I didn't cut off the computer and all of the sudden my screen went black and had like a white line with a red outline running down the middle of it and the whole system shut off. I freaked out, but when I cut the screen back on, the HP icon was showing and then I knew that things were back to normal. Then I cut the whole computer on again, with no bad effects.

No problem. I always try to remember to unplug my computer when I know a storm is coming.
You're the 2nd person I know that has had their computer fired in the last month.
