Default Favorite episodes?

What's everyones favorite episode? I think mine is "Heart Attack". Where Sophia thinks she is dying of a Heart Attack. It came on last night at 11 and it refreshed my memory of how much I love that one! Blanche: Were there many men in Heaven Sophia? Rose: What about God & Jesus? Did you talk to them?

My favorite episode is Part one and two of One Flew Out of the Cookoo's Nest (the last one) because that was the episode where I figured out that Bea Arthur is my favorite actress. In that episode, her eyes sparkled and she looked extremely happy as if she and "Lucas" were actually getting married. When she gave him a kiss and a hug and a look she seemed like she was in "Blushing Bride mode" for real. It was magical.

I thought to myself, "Oh god, Ali! This woman can really act! I need to have every piece of information about this woman imbedded into my head. I want to know this woman so well that I can tell you her whole life story off the tip of my tounge, no stopping or thinking what so ever!" Ever since then I memorized her address, and sent her a 3 page fan letter. God, even I think I'm starnge. I'm 13 and I know that Bea Arthur's last show in London will be October 18 and that she is 5'10". No one in their right mind at my age would be like this over Bea Arthur. All my friends know Orlando Bloom's height, I could care less about him!

The one where they get robbed.
The one with Bob Hope.
The Pilot.
The one where Rose loses her job, in the first season.
The one about Mrs. Claxton dying.
Grab That Dough!
The one where Stan comes and pretends to be married to Dorothy during a Huricane for Angelo.
The one with the Boxer/Musician/Actor, "Kid Pepe".
All the episodes where they flash back.

"the one with Bob Hope" called "You Gotta Have Hope" is one of my favorites too. I always like the "person is thought to be crazy for thinking something will happen and then it happens" plot. And there are two GG episodes with that basic story line: a Golden Girl is counting on a visit from a famous "special" person to solve a problem. The others think she's crazy. The special person does show up, but not for a reason that has anything to do with the Golden Girl who has been "the believer." The other GG episode like this? "The Pope's Ring."

I also like the Pope's Ring for the Rose-Miles scene on the lanai: Miles is daring Rose to make love outdoors, she knows the detective Blanche has hired to spy on him is watching, so she tries to fend him off, but everything she says just gets him more "worked up." She finally has to tell him there's a detective watching him, and he gets mad at her, not Blanche who suggested it. I suppose some of you might think that's mean of him, but I can see why he's insulted. And it's actually kind of sad - Blanche, who is all about romance and sex, has ruined a potential romantic moment for Rose.

I love all the episodes where they "perform" in one way or another.

Henny Penny,
Grab That Dough, (where they appear on a game show),
The one where they sing Mr. Sandman to a baby, and
especially the one where Rose and Blanche tap dance, (The Operation) while Dorothy has to have foot surgery.
