I remember that - God, I miss "Empty Nest" - it hasn't played on tv here (Florida) for many, many years.

Thumbs up Barbra singing FEVER; I remember when...

Hiya' Moondance;

Considering how many awards it won, I continue to be amazed how little it
was picked up for repeat play? I continue to hope it gets a DvD season box
set treatment. (much like our dear ol' Fraiser) I mean I have seen some
pretty weak shows appear in such box sets, some are even still playing as
current series? The death of Richard Mulligan was a real shock as well, I
loved his performances both in 'Empty Nest' and beyond.

Be Well

Same here - I haven't seen it in years.

Default Still wishin' and hopin'

Hey there "Empty Nest' fans;

Years have passed since I posted this thread and as of yet there is still no sign of a season 1 box set. I have continued to search for the "FEVER" episode in the hope of recording the music performance.

Fingers still crossed
(as are the toes)

Isn't this a spin-off of The Golden Girls? I love GG!

It sure was! Harry Weston (Richard Mulligan) first appeared on GG and was quickly spun off into his own show. Of course, the show's creative team, Witt-Harris-Thomas were already very familiar with Mr. Mulligan, as he'd won an Emmy as Burt Campbell on their earlier show Soap. He went on to win another Emmy in the role of Harry Weston.

I liked Harry Weston. It doesn't air at all anymore? What a shame. Hey, Monika, since you're a fan of The Girls, do you ever post at @ccess The Golden Girls? I think they've re-branded and such since my last visit, but it's a great site.

I have to admit I've never seen that site. Thanks for letting me know - I'll have to check it out one of these days.

You-Tube has ripped off some torrents and Dailymotion.
I'm sure the one in question is included...

It's S03E23 The Cruise
just search on Dailymotion, You-Tube or "other download venue"
