Misspelling in credits - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anyone else have the "Best of I Love Lucy" VHS tapes? If so, have you noticed that in the ending credits for Lucy's Italian Movie that Desi Arnaz' Name is spelled Dezi? Check it out!

It's spelled wrong in the episodes TVLand played too..I guess it was a mistake they made back then.

They're in quite a few eps...so I guess whoever typed up the credits back then didn't know how to spell Desi's name...which is rather weird.

They could even fix it now if they wanted to. They changed the beginning credits. That is odd.

How about ARNEZ on E Bay all the time or Carol Burnette instead of Burnett, or Ann Southern instead of Ann Sothern, thay all drive me nuts also!

i hate that!! And I also hate it how some times people will spell Kates name Katherine instead of KATHARINE. Thats a pet peeve of mine too! gah.

Yeah, but at least you're English, I'm French, so i make typing mistakes all the time, then my spelling, then my Canadian way of spelling, you know honour instead of honor and all that, it never ends. I still don't know if it's didn't or did'nt, which is it, i asked last time and someone told me one way, then i saw it in the paper written the OTHER way!
