Default Isn't it ironic!

Get this. It's such a trip that Bill Cosby helped Robin Givens get on "HOTC,"...but it's shows like "Cosby" that are getting shows like "HOTC" get kicked off of the Nick at Nite lineup.

Pathetic, isn't it? I don't even like the Cosby Show, and I know there are many others who think it's overrated, too. I have tried watching the show, but I just can't grow to like it, it definitley doesn't deserve to be shown four damn times a night, pure blasphemy. With Head of the Class leaving, it only gives so much time for Perfect Strangers to last, and I love Perfect Strangers.

Nick@Nite really sucks and so does The Cosby Show.

I hated how they went from ep. #50-something to ep. #107 and then to ep. #1. I only got to see one Billy ep and didnt even get to see when Janice, Jawaharlal, or Marie or even Charlie leave. Maybe one day HOTC will come out on DVD so I can actually see it.

It comes on to late for me to watch it. It should have aired between 9 and 11pm EST. That goes for Perfect Strangers too.

I agree. I started getting into Head of the Class over a month ago (I didn't think the show was all that great when I first saw it, but I quickly started growing to it), and for newer people to the series, you want to see the stuff you didn't know and how it happend. This made me mad too when I saw this.

I am a little more lucky than people on the east side of the US, I live in Chicago and I am in the central time zone and Perfect Strangers and Head of the Class comes on at 3am for me (which still sucks), I feel really sorry for everyone watching it on the eastern time zone.

I havent been watching it that long either. The first episode I saw was a Billy one and I didnt like it, but then I saw it with Charlie and thought it was so much better. While Nick is playing they should play more episodes. Ive only seen one of the Billy eps if I saw more I might like it more.
Nick and TVLand both are going down the toilet.

The Charlie episodes were better than the Billy episodes, Also the ones before Maria, Janice and Jawaharlal, left the show were the best.

Hello, another "newbie" here!

First off, let me say it is GREAT to find a HOTC thread - this is a classic show and there is SO little information about this show anywhere (or maybe I'm just not looking in the right places).

I was very young when this show first came on, so I missed it the first time around, and one night a few months ago, I was taping a "Cheers" marathon, I accidentally taped this show, too, but I watched it and I found it funny and warm and well-done. I continued taping and now I'm hooked! And now it's leaving the air!

I've seen all of the Season 1 and 2 episodes that N@N has run, but they barely show any Season 3 eps. I have missed many of the Season 3 episodes, and I really want to see the episodes where Eric and Simone are together (I would love to see "First Date"), because they are my two favorite characters on the show (I love pretty much everyone in the original cast, but Eric/Simone are my faves).

Does N@N have the rights to ALL the shows, or only select shows? Because if they have the rights to EVERY show, why don't they show every show?

I used to like Cosby (big emphasis on "used to"), but it's replayed so many times that I literally want to throw up when I see it on TV. Where I live it's on at least two other channels. Why can't N@N spread the love around? And who do we contact to get HOTC on another network? I want to see the shows I've missed!

Once HotC is off N@N, you could always find people online who have episodes recorded and buy tapes off them, I plan on doing that once it's off, along with Perfect Strangers whenever it leaves.

Nick at Nite has an open door policy with WB. Meaning, any show in the WB Library, Nick at Nite theoretically has access to it.

However, converting the old videotape masters to digital for airing takes time (and money), so shows like HOTC, Which are on at 4:30 AM are getting the shaft. Moreso, since it's being dropped so Cosby can be aired 20 times a night once Full House and Roseanne start later this fall.

I wonder if the average person could get access to this "WB Library."
