Sopranos Episodes and Diffrent running times??? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

How come some episodes of the Sopranos end early like 10 minutes early while other episodes go the full hour to me ending 10 minutes early makes me feel short changed by HBO

Some episodes are 40 minutes, some episodes are 60 minutes. It all depends on the time needed to tell a particular story. Don't blame it on HBO. They give the creators of the show full artistic freedom.
