I feel like sharing some of my favorite TMTMS lines, so I decided to start a thread about it. I watched "Almost a Nun's Story" earlier, and this is one of my fave scenes.

(Sister Anne stops by Mary's to talk to Georgette about joining the order. She ends up alone w/ Ted, who doesn't know she's a nun.)
Ted:I think it's fate that we're here together. Do you believe in a higher power?
Sister Anne: Devoutly!

Sister Anne:Mr. Baxter, are you asking me out?
Ted:Is the Pope Catholic?
Sister Anne:I certainly hope so!

Okay, this just popped into my head!

From TBFBS

Ted (singing): We have no gym and we have no pool, but we have heart here at Ted Baxter's famous broadcasters' school!

Man, that episode just rocks! Now I wanna watch that episode and 'Two Wrongs Don't Make a Writer.' I'm about to break out the tapes after Bewitched goes off at 2:30.

How about this one from 'Angels In the Snow.'

Rhoda (reading one of the little books to Mary): Mary, listen to this. "A friend is someone who's friendly. A friend is someone who's friendly. Even when it's raining. Even when it's nighttime. Even when it's snowing. Even when it isn't." $3.50.

Yeah, that's sort of classic Phyllis. How about this line from "My Brother's Keeper"

Mary:In case you haven't noticed, [Rhoda] happens to be a very attractive woman.
Phyllis:Is she? Is she, Mary? It must be on some level that I can't perceieve, like ultraviolet light, or those whistles that only dogs can hear.

After watching "Angels in the Snow" again, I remember a favorite line:

Ted:You wanna know what I did this weekend? I got consummated!
Lou: Did you take something for it?

Mary: "Chocolate doesn't solve anything."

Rhoda: "Wrong, Mare. Cottage cheese solves nothing; chocolate can do it all!!!"

OKCRay,
Both the quotes you posted are great! I could spend all day thinking of lines from this show. Welcome to the board!
