I didn't like it, but it's definitely better than all the other teen-girl or cheerleading comedies about- and there are alot. There's a direct to video sequel coming out very soon, but no one from the original seems to be in it- and it seems like a High School version of The Little Giants.

Our town's drama club are doing the Bring it On stage show at a professional theatre and they're adding new dances. The girl who played Courtney in the movie saw it during a stay in Belfast and gave it a standing ovation. Trouble is that Bring it On seems a bit about racial predjudice or stereotypes- but because there are so few black people in the town there aren't any black actors in the stage version.

I've seen that movie like 86 times to date. Lol. But yeah, I like it. Like webuster said, it's a lot better than your average teen cheerleading movies.

I don't really like it, but I guess that compared to the rest of the teen movies....it's probably the creme of the crop.

I liked it! I thought it was kinda funny to see the expression on the Toro's face when they realized that those girls from the other team did the same cheers!

I liked it, mainly because of Eliza Dushku and Jesse Bradford.

"Bring it On" (2000, PG-13, Starring Kirsten Dunst; Comedy) - 2/10 - A popular movie at my high school, I was forced to watch this horrible movie in my Sociology class. It is a true stinker, in the definition of the word. Although it is billed as a comedy, there were only one or two funny moments. The rest of the movie relied on the crutch of sex jokes and tasteless visual gags such as blood and vomit. The cheerleaders are also potty-mouthed and use disrespectful attitudes. No role models to be found here. Also, male cheerleaders are stereotyped in a demeaning manner. The acting is sub-par, and the plot is a yawner. Also, the music in the movie is more of the horrible contemporary trash. Avoid this movie at all costs and go to a pep rally instead.

Classiccomedyfan2- I'm not sure if that post was a joke- but why exactly did you have to watch Bring it On in sociology? I'm hoping it's cos it was the last day at school or something because I'd go crazy if they start using teeny-bopper movies to teach moral lessons in school.

IM CRAZY!!!!!!!
