Question Favorite Character on Barney Miller?

I know this question has been posted before, but here is the updated version...
Who is your favorite character on Barney Miller?

My favorite is Det. Ron Harris, because I love the way he dresses and his cool attitude

Det. Arthur Dietrich. Hands down. Though Ron comes in a close second

What can I say...he's cute...funny...intelligent...and we both have the same last name. It's destiny ^^

I'd have to say Barney.

It's got to be Dietrich. He was the best at dry humor.

That's a hard question because they all were great.

I would have to go with Barney himself. His calm demeanor in the middle of crisis after crisis was very funny.

My second choice would have to be Fish. His one-liners were hilarious.

Wojo was the funniest character on the show. He reminds me of someone I know...me. He has his way with the ladies, yet he is so gullible!

Luger and Levitt.

It cracks me up how Luger just took over whatever scene he was on, especially whenever he came into the squad room. His presence really overshadowed the others. Maybe that's why he wasn't featured as regularly as the others.

Levitt had the greatest facial expressions. If you look at him closely, he's always making a face reacting to whatever is going on. No wonder he cracked Landesberg up all the time! He was also never, NEVER at a loss for words, even if it was something stupid that came out of his mouth. Even during the most tense and even dangerous moments, his main concern was that Barney didn't get mad at him.

A lot of people don't like Levitt and Luger, and go for the obvious (either Harris or Dietrich) but the show wouldn't have been the same... by a long shot... if Levitt and Luger hadn't been on, or featured less than what they were.
