Thumbs up Your Current Favorite Movie

I love The War of the Roses...It's just such a good movie.

Barbara Rose: When I watch you eat, when I see you asleep, when I look at you lately, I just want to smash your face in.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oliver Rose: You have sunk lower than frog **** on the bottom of a New Jersey scum swamp!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oliver Rose: You weren't even multiorgasmic before you met me, were you?
Barbara Rose: You really expect me to keep on reassuring you sexually even now when we disgust each other?

My close second is Romancing the Stone

Jack Colton: Wait a minute, he's after you. Who the hell are you?
Joan Wilder: Well, I'm a romance novelist.
Jack Colton: You're what? What are you doing here?
Joan Wilder: I told you, my sister's life depends on me.
Jack Colton: Ah, don't give me that ****. I thought you were donating a kidney or something.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jack Colton: One hell of a morning has turned into a bitch of a day!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jack Colton: Dammit man, the Doobie Brothers broke up! ****! When did that happen?

This year, so far, The Hours. Then again, I loved The Pianist. I loved them both equally.

Honorable mentions to Chicago, About Schmidt and the documentary, Bowling for Columbine.

A low budget film called The Garbage Man. It was about a guy who dreamed of becoming a garbage man. This film made me want to become a garbage man myself someday. I loved the theme song Mr. Trash Man by Michael Omartian.

Oh, yeah. That, too! I'm so glad that there's going to be a part two and Kiera Knightly is going to be in it!

Right now it's a toss up between Burnt Offerings and Dazed and Confused.
