Married...With Children will be leaving ALL locals after the September 12th airing, here is the final week episodes:

Monday, 09/08/03 ep # 217 Peggy Loves Al, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah TVPG
Tuesday, 09/09/03 ep # 218 The Great Escape TVPG
Wednesday, 09/10/03 ep # 219 Impo-Dent TVPG-D
Thursday, 09/11/03 ep # 220 Just Married…With Children TVPG
Friday, 09/12/03 ep # 221 Father Lode TVPG
END OF CONTRACT

Luckily it will still be on cable on FX though.

May I ask why?... I ask because there seems to be no apparent reason. Did someone purchase exlusive rights?

Sony's term expired for locals. They only want it on cable. Sony owns the show and distributes, no one else can buy it. Hopefully it returns to locals soon.

Oh we got Becker at midnight i wish they keep Married with Children on monday to friday. lucky it so on Sunday

Some are still airing it because those are the locals that could air any episode. Most of the locals were airing the same episodes, that Sony wanted to air. So Sony's contract expired for locals.
