What is your favorite bit of advice that Mike and Carol gave to their kids. Mine is, "Sometimes when you lose, you win."

When they told Marcia (after she got braces) that it's not what you look like, but what's inside that counts...

then, after Clark Tyson, Jan's friend, fell for Marcia, I guess Mike and Carol decided that looks ARE important, and they had Jan dress up in that beautiful dress, and it worked! Clark Tyson fell for her like a ton o' bricks!! And who wouldn't after all? Jan was groovy!
