Question What did you think of "The Sound Of Silence?"

I liked it a lot. It's hard to find a girl around that age facing a hearing loss and I found it SO funny when Mrs. Garrett said this to Tootie: "Now, Tootie, go on and act out the garbage." Natalie's look! It's priceless!

Jo: "What?"
Blair: "I can't believe it."
Jo: (in a louder voice) "What?"
Blair: "There's a hair in my menu."
(Jo blows it out)
Jo: "Not any more!"

I loved this eposides it's one of my favorites.I can releate to it because my sister has a hearing lose. She was born with nerve damage, and because of the damage she wears hearing aids. Anyways I thought it was really nice to have Geri on the there, because she understood what Tootie was going through. I cracked up when Natalie and Tootie were pretending to be a married couple.

Natalie - five years of marrige and you touched me once how come
Tootie - it was an accident

Tootie - I'd better go check my diary
natalie - Don't brother i"m having it published

Tootie - Tell Harry we have dinner every night
Natalie - you call this dinner I call it gas for less

I didn't get it when she got all hysterical...I mean it's not 'that' bad....
but then that Tootie for ya, always over reacting

------------------
Jo: Nobody move!
Blair: Why?
Jo: I lost my shoe!
Blair: Well find it you barbarian!

Blair: There's a lesson to be learned here
Mrs. G: What?
Blair: I feel like that roast!
Jo: Though and shriveled?

Jo: You've proved that Eddie and I are two dumb kids leaning way over our heads with no money, no education, and no chance
Blair: Exactly
Jo:That's why it's gonna be even sweeter when we make it work
Blair: Make what work?
Jo: Ya know tonight I was gonna say no to Eddie but you've helped me realize that he's the only one I can trust and maybe we don't have anything else but we have each other

But, it must have been so scary for her. There were all sorts of crazy ideas going through her head....I'm sure I would have been the same way.

I think that episode was really good...and i think it must have been really scary for tootie...

if it was me on the other hand i would be calm(i no most people are thinking yea right how would u be calm in a situation like that?) but i dont over react in situations like that i am usually calm and i have had ear and eye surgrey before(yea i no its not that same thing but..still) i really laid back and if its not a life or death situation i am fine...most times

------------------
Tootie: hot stuff coming through, and the pizza's are warm too!

Jinny: i think i am going to give up men
Magda: you, give up sex?
Jinny: i didn't say i was giving up sex, i just said i was giving up men! to tell you the truth i kinda like the idea of becoming intamate with something that comes with a money-back gaurentee!

Jinny: You sure he's still up and moving around there, Cap?
Captin: Jinny do you really think that a crack about the age of your commanding officer is the smartest thing you could say under the circumstances
Jinny: umm.. probley not
Captin: thats what I thought

One of my favorite episodes. It was funny how Jo was interested in Tootie's fluid build-up in her ears and actually wanted to see it, lol.
