Some Takes on The Theme Song - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Thought some of you might enjoy these 'variations' of the Gilligan's Island Theme Song that I recently did for a friend.

One is done using the traditional TV show instrumentation, one is a slow passionate ballad, and one is treated as a jumpy acoustic number.

Then of course there were the ways the song and the "Harry Potter" theme* like Giligan theme were worked into the various cues.

*John Williams worked on both Gilligan's "in-the-episode" theme and POTTER. The late George Wyle (1916?-2003) did the theme "Just sit right back" that you put on your site. Gerald Friend and Mort Stevens (with in B&W's Frank Comstock and HB Gilbert close seconds) did the vast majoirty. Sherwood Schwartz, of courxe, wort ethre theme lyric (as he did for It's about time and Brady)s!
