Default 80s Nostalgia

Are there any other people who are 80s mad? I'm crazy about the decade, even though I was only 7 by the end of it.

Today I got some very expensive T-Shirts from an online Retro T-Shirt shop...the minute I saw them I couldn't resist it and so I bought The Goonies one, the Ferris Bueller one and the He-Man one. Everyone thinks I'm a nut but I don't care. LOL.

Any of you guys got any retro T Shirts? And who's just crazy about nostalgia? What makes you feel nostalgic?

- Tania.

It was a great decade.
I love the 80's too and I live it.
I miss the flashy, colorful, upbeat clothes, the music videos were the bomb, interesting to watch, now music vidoes are so boring.
I just miss how people dressed up, men and women, with their big hair and plastic, colorful bracelets..I miss this decade..it was a lot of fun, the music was great, the clothes were totally awesome and the movies, do not get me started..it was just a decade of having fun, looking weird and not caring what others thought. I just wished that kinda of carefree mentality would come back in the 2000's because we sure need a little boost of happiness

My name is Anthony and I love everything about the 80's (especially since I was born in '84). Everything from G.I. Joe to Transformers to Lite Brite to Power Wheels and everything in between.

My favorite show is Small Wonder (1985-1989). I especially love Vicki the Robot played by Tiffany Brissette. That show was so cool, but then again everything about the 1980's was so cool.

I looooooove the 80's even though I was born in 1980 and not really old enough to enjoy it.

Yay! I'm not the only one here.

I LOVE the 80's. I was born in mid-1985 (I'm 18 now), so I was 4˝ by the end of 1989. I remember 1987-89 pretty well and LOVE anything to do with the 80's. OMG. I could go on FOREVER. A LOT of my fave movies and TV shows are from the 80's. My ABSOLUTE fave TV show is "Mama's Family", which was made from 1983-84 and 1986-90 (it went up til March of 1990, so Mama's Family wasn't on for very long in the 90's). I TOTALLY miss the big hair, the clothing, the colors, just everything. I also miss 1990 and 1991 - up here, we were still stuck in the 80's those two years and I remember 1990 and 1991 VERY vividly (I was 5 and 6 those two years). Oh MAN. I miss the 80's like crazy! I think 1988 was such a cool year...Don't get me wrong, I like all the years, but 1988 was cool! I miss 1988...Sigh.

I DO wish I had been born earlier so that I could have enjoyed the 80's more. I AM glad that I got to live in the 80's for a bit, though, at least as a little girl.

It was a great decade, and I miss it, too! If I could, I'd go back to 1986. I mean, I'd love to go through every year of that decade, but that was my favorite. I was 15 by the time the 80s ended, and just starting my first year of high school.

And yeah, it'd be nice to have a little boost of happiness right now.

I love the 80's my favorite things from that decade is the music, tv, movies and some toys. Oh I just got this great 80's cd today its called classic 80's and oh man I love every song on it. I remeber the 80's I when I saw back to the future I though Michael J. Fox was so hot its kind of funny though cause I watched family ties before back to the future came out and I didn't even think anything of Michael till I saw Back to the Future.
And my favorite tv shows from the 80's were FOL, Family Ties, Golden Girls, Growing Pains, ALf, Mama's Famiy, who's the boss? and many more. I miss the 80's but not the clothes and hair styles but everything else.

I hate 80s music. I think 50s music is better. I love swing.

THE 80s WAS THE GREATEST!

I was only 6 when the decade ended. I remember the New Year for 1990, and I was seriously sad to see the 80s leave. Being born in the early 80s meant I didn't get to experience very much of it, but I just new that it was an awesome time and I didn't like to see it go. I listened to music at a really young age, and I still love 80s music to this day. The toys were the best, the clothes and hair styles were hilarious, and the movies and tv shows were cool! Ah, I love the 80s. I get a little sad when I think I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I could have if I had been born earlier. But at least I get to still listen to the 80s music and watch 80s movies and tv shows.

I dont blame ya. I loved the 80s!!

The awesome music,arcades,etc.........

Stuff got TOO GOOD so the elite started killing it off and by 2000 most ppl were dumbed down and were satisfied with crap.... (They had been reprogrammed)
