Default Any Matlock Fans?

I liked this show a lot cause Matlock was a very good lawyer. I liked the black guy who worked for Matlock in the first couple of seasons. His real name is Kene Holiday & his name was Tyler on the show. I used to like it when he would always get beat up trying to find out information for Matlock LOL.

I love Matlock, and Tyler was my favorite character besides Ben. He was a really cool guy, and funny too.

I like the show "Matlock" also. I no longer get to see since it stopped airing on TBS Superstation. I don't get Hallmark Channel. Matlock always managed to add humor, but keep the drama going at the same time.

I like this show and Perry Mason. 2 episodes of two great shows airing back to back. One way that Matlock is better is that it ditched the old-fashionedness of Perry Mason and modernized the series. I think if you watched the two series and compared them, you would know what I mean. I also noticed that in Perry Mason, I don't think the trial ever went to the jury. In Matlock the outcome was almost always decided by a jury.

Matlock is the country version of Perry Mason but Mason was stiff & proper!! Matlock was a true southerner!!

I liked MATLOCK, too. They must have done something right -- the series ran
on NBC (and later ABC) for nine years! ... despite many changes in the supporting cast .. or maybe because of that; it kept the show fresh. In fact,
MATLOCK ran a year longer than THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW (although more
people remember Griffith as Andy Taylor due to repeats in syndication and on
TV Land). He was great in both roles, two different but similar characters.

After the last episode of NEWHART aired (the famous dream sequence with
Suzanne Pleshette), someone quipped that it would be funny if, in the last
episode of MATLOCK, Ben woke up and he was the sheriff of Mayberry!

Never miss Matlock and aways try and catch Perry Mason when he is on too...As far as Tyler and Conrad is concerned, it's kind of a toss-up.. I think Tyler was more humorous but enjoyed Conrad also... Liked Conrad very much when he was on Walker, Texas Ranger.......Whatever happened to those two ? As for the dream sequence, what a great idea.......We always wished that Matlock went to Sparta, Miss.(In the Heat of the Night) and defended one of Chief Gillespie's old friends there for a visit from Maine, Jessica Fletcher (Murder She Wrote)..Kind of a far fetched idea but, fun none the less....

Matlock was always a fun show, and we still enjoy watching it today when it's on and we're home (Hallmark kept showing the same 2-hour movies, and that was annoying, but we love the show).

The supporting characters were great...Tyler had a great sense of humor, and Conrad was extremely sharp-minded and cool...

And Nancy Stafford, who played Michelle Thomas (excluding her first appearence on the show, when she played a hooker!) was GORGEOUS!!! And still is (she was a former Miss Florida in the Miss America pageant).
