AITF Reference in 1972 Ringo Starr song...

This weekend I attended the Fest for Beatles fans and I bought a Ringo Starr CD 'Blast From Your Past.' (I also got to meet "Mellow Yellow" Donovan--but that's another story for another time). One of the songs on the CD is called "Back off Boogaloo" (released in 1972). Anyway, one of the lines goes like this:

Wake up, meat-head,
Don't pretend that you were dead....

(I think the song was about Paul because back in 1969, a disc jockey in Detroit started this stupid rumor saying that "Paul McCartney is dead").

Even though 'Back off Boogaloo' could've been about Paul, I think perhaps Ringo had been watching AITF and decided to call Paul a meathead in his song! At that time, the former Beatles were feuding over so many things. I just thought I'd mention the little AITF reference. I also wonder what Archie (or even Mike) would've thought of John Lennon's 'Imagine' (which came out in 1971).
Oh, when I was watching the '200 Greatest Pop Icons' on VH-1 a few weeks ago, they had showed a segment about Carroll O'Connor (who was number 56). Anyway, while the narrator was talking about him, a song was playing in the background. I only caught a couple of words. It went...
