on the episode where lucy keeps pulling the emergency brake on the train, when the jewel thief points the gun at ricky, and lucy pulls the brake, ricky does this sliding move with his feet that looks like a dance step mabye he forgot where he was and thought he was at the club.Thats why i think MICHAEL JACKSON may have drawn on his style the way ricky pulls his hat over his eyes some of his arm movements and the style in general it all looks very familiar

Because he did dance a lot, and also for comic effect from time to time in skidding and things, he wore shoes with no grips on the soles. So Moonwalking, accidental or otherwise, is quite a possibility!

Michael Jackson certainly didn't invent moonwalking. Cab Calloway was doing it forty years earlier. Ricky may have been influenced by Cab or others who did a similar step in the 30s and 40s. MJ's hat and arm movement style could have easily been inspired by Ricky - it's certainly likely he watched ILL as a kid.

Him having gotten it from Cab Calloway makes sense too, they were from almost the same era and played the same venues.

Maybe the problem was that Gary couldn't Moonwalk?

I'm only saying this because this is the only board i can mention it on, but i hear she at least had a very happy sex life with Gary, right up to the end, and that's nice to hear. That he wasn't just concerned with his GOLF balls! She might have been miserable career wise at the end, but at least she was comfortable with her OLD SHOE of a husband. A few weeks after she died, he was going with Eva Gabor, who left him because of his other love G O L F !
