Question Why do you think Cindy's hair was in braids during the last few seasons

I wonder this too, it doesn't combine with the theme song it says the youngest one in curls, but I don't think they should've made it in braids later in the final seasons of the show.

What is your opinion of why they started putting Cindy's hair in braids?

Because Cindy was getting too old to be wearing pigtails. But the braids aren't much better. I think they kept "curls" in the theme song because it rhymes with "girls".

I hardly recognzied Susan :Cindy" Olsen (the BB poster I have has the CLASSIC pigtials 1969-1971 Susan!) anyway, some do sue Pigtials and braids interchangably..

Y'know...producer SHerwood Schwartz had the two single Gilligan girls (Mary Ann and Ginger) go through numerous do's, as well, so did (My three sons's Don Fedderson's) Cissy (KathY Garver) in the original Family Affair--heck, even Brady's Florence Henderson and the guys had hair-changes, but at least THEY didn't have the hair do mentioned in the LYRICS!

Default The lyrics

Actually, the song was in a past tense. Therefore, Cindy was in curls when Mike and Carol met. There was no need to adjust the song, even when her hair do changed.

Because Susan's facial contour changed and the corkscrews weren't as flattering.

At least Schwartz let Susan grow up while playing Cindy, unlike Fedderson with Anissa Jones' Buffy.

Cool

While Susan's Mom loved the pigtails Susan hated them. She probably asked for her characters hairsyle to change!

Here's the story
Of a lovely lady
Who was bringing up three very lovely maids
All of them had hair of gold
Like their mother
The youngest one in braids

Yeah. She didn't wear glasses during the last two seasons. They should've done an episode about her getting contact lenses. I'm pretty sure they were around during the early 1970's. As far as Jan's hair goes, by the last season, she was wearing it all down, not up in a clip.

Does Eve wear glasses in real life?
