Default - Musicals -

I love 'em, how about you? Which are your favorites?

Just wondering 'cause I'm in the mood for one now.

My favorites are Disney's Annie (1999 version) and Pete's Dragon. I can watch them over and over.

Excluding Disney musicals (cos most disney movies used to be musicals)- I basically enjoy any musicals made round the 60's onward. Though recently I've began watching the older musicals- I still like the new ones. I don't count movies like Flashdance, Footloose or Dirty Dancing as musicals- they're just movies with vital soundtracks.

My favourites are Rocky Horror, Shock Treatment, Chicago and Little Shop of Horrors.

All modern- but I recently bought the 2 blues brothers movies- I consider them to be musicals too, and I saw 'Earth Girls are Easy'-but halfway thru the film the writers must've forgot it was a musical.

Takes a while to get into older musicals, then again- you can get addicted. A few years ago I wasn't a fan of one musical at all.

I love Rocky Horror and I guess that the Elvis movies could be considered musicals.

Has anyone seen the movie of the musical 'Hair'?
I haven't seen it yet but I've heard some of the soundtrack and it's great- so I'm just gonna find a copy on video.

I saw 'The Harvey Girls' last week- it was one of the better musicals from the time.

Titanic: A New Musical

The only musical I seriously dislike is Annie- I was in a community theater production of it when I was 8 and played the most annoying character ever- Duffy.
