For instance:
Why is it that Dr. Samuels only calls on the boys during his "pop quizzes"? (He did call on Simone in the pilot episode, but there wasn't a sense of urgency like on "The Big Squeeze.") Anyone else have anything come to mind? |

Yeah; How come Mr. Moore never let Dennis or Arvid have parts in the plays? They wanted them, but were always stuck doing behind the scenes work. Except in the Little Shop of Horrors episodes when Arvid fell into the role of Seymore by luck and Dennis was practically on his knees begging Mr. Moore for the role of Audrey II. Unfair!

Mr. Moore is a lookist, that's why. Look at all the pretty girls he dates on the show (like Shayeeda in "The Outsider"). And he constantly made cracks on Arvid behind his back. I find it hard to believe sometimes that this man truly cared about these students.
I do find it ironic that in "Moore That You Know," Charlie was having trouble deciding to give up teaching for theater, but in the end, he stayed with teaching. Two years later, Charlie ends up giving up teaching for good to pursue acting. I know Howard Hesseman wanted out, but come on now! |
