Who went to Jamestown for the Lucy festival?? How was it?? I wish those who went could post pictures. I want to go sooooo bad! >.< But it's like 12 hours or more away, and my family wouldn't want to travel all that way just for me, since I'm the only Lucy-Desi nut in my family. =/ I guess I'll have to wait until I turn 18. 3 more looong years..lol... so how was it??

Yes, I went and it was fun, as usual. It rained an awful lot though. Everyone should really try to go next time. It's a cute, quaint little town. I think this past trip was my 5th. Where there's Lucy, there's Sherry

I went. It was my first time going in August...I like the May festival better...more events...but I must say they had a good line of guests. It was apleasure seeing Frank (her driver), Wanda(her secretary), Carole Cook, Mike Stern and Ric Carl.

This was my second year going. I had a great time. My two favorite events were Breakfast with Lucy's TV Sons and an Evening with Carole Cook (She's so funny!). I wish I could have gone to "Lucy 101", that sounded like it was great. I spent a lot of money in the giftshop too, lol. I hope everyone gets to go to Jamestown one day, it's great.

I wish they would get a move-on with Lucy's tomb stone. After all this time it still isn't up.
The Boat cruise was really fun, and I liked the Carole Cook Gala. I unfortunately missed Lucy 101. Big mix up on that part....but I hope they relase that on tape. that would be a treasure to have in my collection. By the Way as Long as I am onthat track....does anyone have any of Lucy's college lectures on video cassette??? I would gladly do a trade, or maybe we could work something else out. But I really would like that particular one in my collection. |
