Cast Guilt trip - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Well I'm bored and I have nothing else to do so I was thinking and I have a question for all of you. I was just thinking about the episode "Diane Chambers Day" and I wondered if any of you thought that the cast of Cheers was affected at all by this episode. I mean you are all aware of the rumors about how the cast treated Shelley and didn't include her and stuff. And you are all also aware of what the episode is about. So this is my question, do you think that Shelley was treated any differently off-set after this episode was shot? I mean because the episode is a lot like real life was (or so everyone says). Shelley was left out of everything and not liked and so was Diane. Do you think that the cast thought about how they acted in real life as a result of this episode, and treated her differently (even if you couldn't tell, and you probably can't, on-screen) I hope they did! What do you think?

*ok, i know this is sort of a stupid question but i'm bored and can't think of anything else to write, so humor me okay! lol

I don't know...it would have been nice if they ALL reflected on their own behaviors and got along a little better.......including Shelley because I'm sure she had her reasons for not wanting to be included just as much as they had reasons for not including her....it's too bad really...I think things went bad after the 3rd season with the whole Frasier controversy....and Shelley announced that she was leaving in the 5th season (when her contract expired) during the 3rd season as well...for some reason I think that they did get along 1st and maybe 2nd season...

I dont think I would like someone very much, if they were the star of my show, and announced they were leaving. I mean, I could lose my job!!

So, hopefully they treated her nicer, I dont know if I could.

This has nothing to do with the post but my mom looked alot like Shelly in Collage and my aunt says she acted like her. I just thought it was cool

(I dunno mabey that treated her better)

hmmm, that's something to think about, maybe that was all part of glen, les, and jimmy's plan for the rest of the cast to let shelley join their little reindeer games...
