He didn't fit in...so I am asking. Do you feel that the story of him being shipwrecked onto the sanford and son junkyard is far fetched and did it take away from its popularity.

I thought Cal was not a bad foil for Fred Sanford. However i thought the premise of Fred having a rich Beverly Hills girlfriend was rediculous. I can't believe that they did not bring Donna back to the show.

i understand your point..i dont really agree with the CAL part..but donna should've came back..if not donna then carol the saleswoman.

Maybe Donna and Fred broke up by that time
