Archie Bunker as President
I was wondering if anyone knows if Archie Bunker was promoted as a presidential candidate in the 1972 election. I'm trying to win a 70's trivia contest, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Not in a serious manner, of course. But in both '72 and '76 an "Archie Bunker for President" campaign was produced. Old "New York Times" issues contain the "campaign" memorabilia for sale at the time. One button said "Bunkers: America's Foist Family."
