Thumbs down Can someone please tell me why the Eagles are Favorites to Win it all this Season???

Mcnabb and the Eagles put only 10 points in The NFC Championship, they lose Hugh Douglas, Shawn Barber, and Brian Mitchell and they are going to win it ALL????

Tampa Bay is going to show the Eagles how to play ball on the first Monday Night Game of the season.

I hate the Eagles, but they looked pretty crisp in their preseason game against the Saints.

I can't either, but I don't see anybody in the NFC East that is all that strong.

I don't know about the Eagles being favorites to win it all. I thought Tampa Bay was the favorite to repeat as champions, I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

In Las Vegasm they are saying that
the Eagles are 5-1 odds to win it all. Tampa is 6-1 odds. Those numbers will change after the Bucs beat the Eagles again on Sept 8th

Brian Mitchell doesn't pass or tackle, he just a kick returner. Besides if he was so good why didn't he lead the Eagles a Super Bowl last year? Brian Mitchell is not the same player as he was years past.

Brian Mitchell is a dangerous kick returner.

Brian Mitchell is a very dangerous returner, but he will not win the Giants very many games, if any games by himself

Tampa Bay is definitely the favorite to repeat. Philly will undoubtedly be on of the best teams in the NFC again. But as Sitcom_Analyzer mentioned, they took some hard losses on defense. Also, Duce Staley is holding out right now and probably won't be ready for Week 1 if he comes back soon. The running game isn't that solid without Staley. They obviously have a great QB and decent wide receivers. I think they'll win the NFC East. What do you guys think?

Whoever wins the NFC East willbe Giants or Eagles. Who ever wins the NFC will the Bucs, Giants, or Eagles.

Don't forget about the Rams or 49ers or Packers as darkhorses. THey all do have good chances. Maybe they aren't as good as the Bucs, Giants or Eagles, but you can't count them out. Anything can happen, as we all know with the Patriots winning the Super Bowl two years ago and the Rams before that.

Who do you guys like in the AFC? I like the Raiders again this year. The AFC seems significantly weaker than the NFC.
